For the ignore option, does this only apply to your inbox? Meaning users on your ignore list wont be able to contact you.

I was wondering if this applies to forum posts as well, do they show up? Are they just hidden but can be seen from other users who don't ignore them? Are people on your ignore list not allowed to post messages in threads you create?

I am just wondering what the options are and how it works in xenforo.

    Thanks,

It applies to forum posts as well - the user basically just becomes completely invisible to you, so you'll never see anything they write. I don't know if they can respond to a thread you created or not - you'd never know either way...

It almost entirely removes them from threads with just an option to view, which is nice, but also can get confusing when people start responding to them
