Does anyone know anything about the Vernal Brewing Company? I'm wondering when they are going to open and what they will offer. Grand Junction (where I live) is only a little over two hours from Vernal and it might make a nice weekend road trip to head up there when it opens. Here's where I read about the new brewery being built: http://utahbeer.blogspot.com/2012/10/vernal-brewing-company-update.html
I used to live in Vernal, moved away about 4 months ago, and they were still under construction at the time. The last that I had heard was that they had received just about all of their permits to operate. Here's their website: http://www.vernalbrewingcompany.com/about-us/
Just found this. It looks like it was posted yesterday. http://utahbeer.blogspot.com/2013/02/vernal-brewing-co-preview.html
Vernal brewing Company will be opening soon. I promise. I have been helping with getting a lot of the final supplies ordered and looking at malt/hop/supply companies. I will be one of the guys working in the brewhouse. There is a very smart woman for an assistant Brewer (I love seeing women getting into craft beer!). I can tell you that I am very excited for what is going to come. I had never been to Utah until I landed this job. Vernal is a very welcoming town. Beautiful scenery, Mountain biking, water, and now some good beer, soon!. What else do you need! We were moving some fermenters and brite tanks around to make room to set the brew system! There is still a Brewmaster position available. check the link for qualifications. I can tell you the owners will be great to work for!!!!!!!! I gave you a little teaser with my avatar. A pic from moving some tanks around! http://discussions.probrewer.com/sh...aster-Brewer&highlight=vernal+brewing+company
We have acquired a Brewmaster. We have all of our brewhouse positions filled. We are all getting very excited to start brewing. That time is not to far off!
Good to hear you guys are progressing! When I lived there, the water was awesome for brewing. I brewed quite a few batches with zero modifications to the tap water.
Just wanted everyone to know that we are doing a soft opening the 25th-28th of April. You can make reservations on the website vernalbrewingcompany.com. There is a tab on the header of the page that says reservations. Hope to see you there!
Pretty cool to see an award like this given out for a brand new brewery. http://www.babcockdesign.com/project/vernal-brewing/
Wow, looks like we'll finally be seeing these brews on shelves. https://www.facebook.com/vernalbrewingcompany?fref=nf
I understand their new brewer came from Pyramids Sacramento Brewery. http://utahbeer.blogspot.com/2015/06/cans-from-vernal-brewing-coming-soon.html
