By the case is right, paid around 40ish for a case in Dtown at Victory.

Up here, it seems as if it has disappeared, maybe demand has increased..

Good thing i am going back home for the holidays..

Who knows whats up.. Hop Ranch is coming, maybe that might be why...

I actually haven't bought it up here. When I go back I just usually buy a case. Heck it saves 20 bucks rather than buying 4 packs.

Their new location in Parkesburg will be able to produce more.. and can't wait to see what the brewpub in Kennet is like.

I travel through there all the time..

I have no comment on them...again the system makes exploitation inevitable...

I have been buying singles (sometimes doubles) so much lately, and bombers, that four or six feels like too much of the same thing to me. I would never buy six of something to try - only sixes when something is a favorite and I will be entertaining.

I have become a big fan of 4-packs, especially IPAs. DirtWolf, Resin, and Palate Wrecker all come in 4s. This way I never have to worry about them getting stale, and I don't feel I HAVE to drink them. DirtWolf and Resin are also common enough in my area that I don't have to worry about them running out.

Actually, I also like buying Founders in 4-packs. I don't mind getting beers in a 6er, exactly, but it's still easier with a 4-pack.

If you don’t mind be asking, what did you pay for your 4-pack of Dirt Wolf?

    Cheers!

I've seen it anywhere from $8.99 up to $12.99 for a four pack.

I think this is symptomatic of a trend. With the insane saturation of the market at this point with the sheer variety of brews that are out there now, 6 packs may be on the way out. Most breweries now seem to be moving to the 4-pack format, since people want to try lots of different things, rather than focus their entire budget on a smaller number.

    Just a thought.

    I don't recall exactly, but $8.99 sounds right. I'm sure it wasn't over $10 (pre-tax). It's a very affordable year-round DIPA.

    Cheers!

Tell this to bells. All their beers are in 6 packs, and yea, that means that you have to pay more for a 6 pack of things like java and expedition stout. I would kinda prefer to pay 12 for a 4 pack of the stuff................

They went to 4-packs with Storm King also. Didn't see a price tho. I wonder if it'll still be $12.99?

The wholesale bottle price is only $.05/bottle higher, so the 4-pk price should fall into the $8.99-ish range. YMMV.

Why 4-packs? Because "they" (Victory and many others) can...and we continue to pay it. No sense analyzing it until we all stop buying them.

Its a great deal for an $8 IIPA. Not my favorite, but how can you argue with a IIPA for that price?

IMO - 0.5L / bomber, or packs of 6 upwards.
