    Hi all,
I will be visiting St Paul, MN (Im from Austin,TX) at the end of September/beginning of October and was wondering -
a.) what local bars/brew pubs I should hit up
b.) what beers outside of Texas distribution will be out around that time
c.) what bottle shops I should visit
d.) what beers I should take from here to share with St. Paul BAs

    Any help is appreciated.

You won't have to buy a beer during your stay as long as you have Jester King to pass around.

    A) definitely hit Town Hall (they are open every day, growler sales all but Sunday). Surly, Indeed, and Steel Toe's taprooms are all well-worth the visit (Indeed and Steel Toe do growler fills, Surly cannot). As far as bars go, The Happy Gnome in Saint Paul is a little pricy, but their selection is awesome. Republic is right across fromTown Hall, they always have a great selection. The Blue Door in Saint Paul is worth a try if you can get there between 2pm and 4pm (they have $2 happy hour pints and incredible burgers; it gets tough to find a place to sit after four). Shamrock's or The Nook in Saint Paul also have amazing burgers; their beer selection is hit or miss, though. The Bulldog (any of them) has good food and a nice selection of tap beer. If you can make it over to Hudson, WI, the Stone Tap and Cassanova's always have nice tap offerings and both do growler fills (Cassanova's has a bottle shop, also). Groveland Tap is another place to hit in Saint Paul.

I'll respond to the rest later...

I'd go with my favorite 1-2 punch in downtown St. Paul of Barrio for dinner and then Bulldog next door for beers. If you're heading up to the Happy Gnome be sure to walk the few blocks over to the Muddy Pig too. As to bottle shops in St. Paul IMHO the Ale Jail is the best. If you want any food recommendations or other St. Paul stuff feel free to hit me up via PM.

Please do bring up some Jester King sours and I'll gladly swap with you!

Red Cow is less than a mile from Happy Gnome.

I would also be interested in trading for some Jester King. I already have Funk Metal and Nocturn Chrysalis. Atrial Rubicite sounds amazing and so do most of the others. Where to begin?!?!
