No way in hell I'm paying $30 for Vlad. Cascade's prices have gotten way too high over the last year or two. At $15 I was happy to drink an Apricot every now and again...Adding another $3 to the price tag basically guaranteed I wouldn't buy any more. Same goes here...$22 was tough enough, $30 is a joke...especially considering Peche and Fantasia are going for about $10 less and are better beers overall (I know they're different and so on...but still).

Just got back from Beermongers where I bought a BA Bigfoot, Ovila Quad with Plums and Alesmith Decadence roughly for the price of one Vlad. Tough choice.

Another one fooled by bruery garbage. Tilquin is superior in every aspect. Fact

If they raise prices too much they are going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. Vlad for $30, ya right i have had that beer so many times and it is not worth $30 a bottle. I can think of a bunch of other sours i would rather have. I hope this is not a new trend for cascade but unfortunatley many other breweries are doing the same with pricing. I know the dollar is losing value but god damn man gimmie a break...

I have to agree completely. Rueuze is a complete abomination. The only part about that beer I enjoyed was that it didn't gush like a volcano exploding like many of Bruery's other disasters...it still went down the drain though.

I'd say TAA is a good deal. Freaking love Sahalie and the entire process behind it is worth it to me.

Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent.

My first thought, Vlad for $30 is BS. But then I remembered that Matt was more expensive when released 2.5 years ago at HotD. Now, one can debate the quality of the different beers. But we've been paying that much without complaining too loudly for years. Just in a different format bottle.

I think Matt, while delicious, is way overpriced as well:slight_smile:

Each day I lose a little bit of interest in Cascade.

I feel like I should drink my bottle of Blueberry just to get rid of it...

I think this became a 'no mas' scenario. I put some thought into it.

    Lol!
While I enjoy both, Tilquin is too cheesy for me, (that's why I buy the 375ml at Belmont when I'm in Portland, shhhh.)

I make sure to grab the Girardin and 3F while there. In fact I'll be there tomorrow afternoon on the hunt for a little BA Bigfoot.
