Wayland Michigan bars and stores to check out?

Founders is within 30 minutes. They'll be putting on CBS at some point.

 

Wayland is a little closer to Grand Rapids than Kalamazoo, but the difference is not so great so that a trip to Kzoo is also a good choice if there is something discovered there that he wants. Bell's for example.

The closest brewpub to Wayland is the Old Mill Brewpub & Grill ( http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33667/ ), which is about 10 miles south of Wayland on US-131 and about 2 miles east off of 131 at the Allegan exit, or also at the same exit but about 2 miles west is a new beer bar that is supposed to have a good tap list. It is called Maude's ( http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/34862/?view=ratings ) is supposed to have 48 taps. I have not been there to know how good the list might be.
