I'll be attending a wedding in Seattle late this summer. I'm being asked to suggest a local beer for the reception. I'm not sure what's readily available in kegs up that way. Any recommendations? Anything from Washington that's available in Seattle/Tacoma would be fair game.

    Thanks!

Any particular style that you're looking for? Mannys pale ale is a really solid beer from Georgetown brewing, or Interurban IPA from Fremont brewing.

If you want something accessible to everyone I'd say an IPA from Big Time, Georgetown or Fremont.

Manny's is a good choice. If you want to go hoppier, Lucile, their IPA is really tasty too but it can be a little more intense than the random wedding guest.

I've seen some pretty intense wedding guests.

I had a keg of Mirror Pond at my wedding reception. Went over well.

American Brewing IPA, Blonde or Two Beers anything. Kegs are cheap and you'll have a great choice from Two Beers. I'm disheartened by all the Manny's suggestions!;) Don't do Manny's:)
    Also:
    Boundary Bay
    Big Time
    Elysian (yeah i said it)
    Cheers:)

Thanks All! Greatly appreciated. Now, any recommendations for bottles I should bring home that I can't get in So Cal? I've got space for a case + in my father in laws car. Yes, my family is awesome.

Might even get lucky and catch a Black Raven bottle release. It would be at their brewpub only in Redmond but would be worth getting something if it happens.

Full Throttle randomly got in some bottled Black Raven stuff earlier in the week, so that may be changing.
