    Greetings!

    First, for those who don't know me, I'm Todd Alström, Founder of BeerAdvocate. I'm also hosting the fest along with a special guest, participating brewer, and my good friend Edgar Preciado, @BEERTHUGLIFE.

    Second, thanks for your support and welcome to the fest forum! Here we'll post updates, discussion threads, recordings of both sessions, and other fest content exclusively for you. If you get lost, you can find this forum under "IPA Fest" main site navigation or on the main Forums page.

    Third, shoutout to the team at Half Time Beverage for partnering with us to ensure that the India Pale Ales coming your way are as fresh as possible and in your hands before the fest!

    I was never an IPA fan, but have grown to like quite a few (not really bitter ones) after several local virtual beer fests during our last year at home. Looking forward to this fest

    We’re all in for a treat. This will be my second. First was Juicy Brews Saturday Morning, and it was stellar. That said, I’m looking forward to this fest starting at 7pm (Oklahoma) instead of 10:30am like JBSM did! Cheers!

    Looking forward to this one, as it can be a shared event with a couple of my local beer friends. We will be full vaccinated and past the post-vaccine waiting period. For EBF I was dropping off samples in taster glasses sealed with plastic wrap, so we could sample and webex at the same time. This will be a much easier event.

    Really looking forward to this. Half Time wasn't delivering to my ZIP code for the Extreme Beer Fest, so I'm glad that they managed to get mine included for this one. I really love super hoppy IPAs, but any IPA is a friend of mine, along with all the hopheads at BA. Thanks for organising this online festival!

    After 2020 cancelled all the events I was looking forward to, I’m psyched to be signed up for one that’s a sure thing! How’s everyone else gonna participate? On the couch in sweats, or in pandemic-friendly style? My buddy and I are doing it up in a remote cabin on a lake, and I can practically taste the hops already
