I haven't been as active on this site as I should have been, but I am very excited about this beer fest! So heartening to be in a community of beer lovers. “Whoever drinks beer, he is quick to sleep; whoever sleeps long, does not sin; whoever does not sin, enters Heaven! This will be my first virtual beer tasting. Thanks for doing this. I'm looking forward to it. I'm just not sure i can hold the urge to crack one open and try it. Either way, the beers do sound great. I have only heard of a few of the breweries though. I love IPA's!! So it doesn't matter. Idk about wearing pajama's. I haven't worn them since i was a kid. Lol The time is actually decent for us on the east coast. It's around the time i would be drinking, doing dfs, and watching sports. This should be fun guys.Thanks!! I can't wait for the beers to get here.

 

Can’t wait for the fest. Really excited about the mix of styles and regions represented. I’ve had 2 (Hop Butcher & Revision) and both were great, plus PtE is an all-time fave, so I’m incredibly stoked to try the DDH version! Plus Weathered Souls and BeerThugLife??!! Awesome to see them participating. Honestly, the entire package looks great.

 

EBF was great! I am looking forward to another great weekend of beer, learning, beer, talking about beer, and beer.

 

Can't wait to drink these awesome beers! This is my first virtual BA beer fest.

 

My wife loves the DFH headband. Great souvenir of an amazing event.

 

Can't wait to give this one a try. First time I ever got to sample some Pliny was at the Tornado Pub in San Francisco. No jet lag required for IPAFest!

 

When will the recording for the 1st session be posted? Don’t think I’ll be able to make that one live, so hoping it will be posted Saturday afternoon to give me time to watch it and roll right into the 2nd session live.

Just received UPS notification that my beer for the fest should arrive by Wednesday! Now if I can only hold off drinking it until the actual festival dates.

 

Any idea on shipping date yet? Just trying to make sure someone is home and FAQ shows not shipped yet.

All Pliny needs is the right gear. I can find the discount code for few gear mentioned in the FAQs - is that available to all?

Brews arrived yesterday! Thanks to Half Time. Can’t wait. This will be my second Virtual beer fest. Did the Extreme Beer Fest and had a blast.

 

I just got mine yesterday too. Thanks Half-Time! The beers came all packaged up and ice cold. I love the little poster with the graphic and beer list on the back. i know "Revision" and "DC Brau" had some of their beers, and i think i heard of "Drekker" before. The rest i don't know but sound delicious. The two plastic tasting cups that come with it are funny. I was expecting an actual beer glass. But whatever works. The indents on the side are a nice feature for holding them. I appreciate the discount codes. If all goes well i may be using them again to purchase some hard to find beers. I'm right in PA too. So it wouldn't take long to ship. Thanks again BA and Half-Time. Now i have to go buy more beer so i don't accidentally drink one of these. Lol See ya'll IPA fest night. Cheers!!

 

Pumped for my first virtual beer fest...doing it from home will make it easier to get there after all of the IPAs!

 

Beers have arrived! Will be nearly impossible to wait another week...

 

The beers arrived today still cold and went right to frige. What an awesome line up of IPAs. It looks like each brewery worked to out-do each other. This is my first IPA Fest and I can't wait until April 30th.

 

this is gonna be awkward. I don't actually own pajamas.

 

Am sitting by the door daily waiting for my Pliny. Can't wait!!!
