    Just checking it out.
    Looks great.
Harder to use so far. I'll get used to it.

<<Profile pages will eventually be sync'd too.>>:D (had to use a smile since it's been the most emotional transition noted to date)

I am very happy to hear this since that's where I keep my trading partner list.

Not sure how I feel about the new forums yet as I've only given them about 30 minutes, but I do wish we had some warning that all the BMs were going to be inaccessible for a while. I had seven trades in the works that I guess are all on hold. Is getting the old BMs back a priority right now, or is it on the back burner?

There has to be a way to change this on the admin end. Other similar forum software packages handle nested quotations properly.

Glad to hear that the Bros are looking into visually integrating the forums into the site...the functionality is nice but as some people already stated the white space is just way too much...plus it just doesn't "feel" like BA. Functionality is great and the fact that avatars don't have to be 1x1 pixels is definitely a plus.

Like the new look. Although, it looks a bit like Facebook.
    I hate facebook.
    Good job Bros.

I have to say I didn't really like the new forums at first because it's pretty much a generic message board. I liked the simple and skinny old forums, but I have to say that the new ones are growing on me, I think they're pretty rad now.

Hey hey!! Glad to be back! Looking good so far. I'm liking some of the new features. The new forums look good, but I agree that it doesn't feel the same as the old layout. I'm sure I'll get used to it soon. The nested conversations are going to be missed if that doesn't get fixed. I liked how easy it was to follow conversations before, seems like it'll be a little trickier now. But I'm definitely looking forward to getting to know the new layout and all of these flashy new toys. Cheers everyone! and Thank You Jason and Todd for all of the hard work you put into this community. My glass is raised to you guys!

Liking the site. It's similar to RB, but faster on my iPhone. Have the members been resurfacing as expected?

I absolutely agree with this, I always liked that BA black background, and I think it's actually easier on the eyes to read just a few lines of text in a post when the text is about 3 or 4 inches across, rather than the super broad format of the text on the new forums

I think there is way too much white space. The new forum is definitely harder on the eyes, especially for long periods of time. I loved the old black back drop. It was BA's signature look and I miss it. I think it's too expanded as well, it seems very wide, zoomed in and chunky. I am in favor of much more info on one screen. If it were pulled back with a margin on one side with some other site functions it would be sweet.

I would like to see the white space gone as well. A nice full black background, white letters and a gold/yellow outline. Give the site time though.

If they changed the background to black, wouldn't there be "too much black space" then?

I think the main issue with the white space is the strain on the eyes. The white is a lot brighter and stands out much more than a black (or other dark background) would.

Saw that, thanks. 25 should be than enough, even for most BIFs. Loving the new site so far.

So I'm assuming once the data is fully integrated from the old site, I will get back my avatar, beer reviews and profile info?

I lucked out and got my old photo and blurb from Google's cache - try to do a Google search for your profile, go to the arrow along the right-hand side, and click on "Cached." That might give you a snapshot from a few days ago. (I went for a new profile pic anyway, but I'll keep the old blurb...)

I have lots of questions, but I'm sure they'll be answered in time.

Wow. I was taken back by the fact that my profile doesn't have the stats. I just read through and I hope that information follows soon, especially my review stats.

Glad to see a forum back up and running though!

Is there anyway to see the # of posts, views and most recent person to post on a certain thread with out watching the thread?

Where it the Feb 24th update? Do I have to sift through 16 pages of posts to find it or am I missing something?
