Nothing WCIPA-wise blew me away my first few visits, but lately I *do not* go to OC without stopping by GC to see what WC they have in cans and I typically walk out with a couple 4pks. Always really happy when they have fresh Radiant Beauty in cans. Happily Deceased was also great. The DIPA they just released--I Knew That Years Ago (branded as a California IPA, but WCIPA)--I wish I'd bought more of. Really great, clean WC DIPA. I advise to try them again sometime.

All 3 mentioned really solid. On my last 2 cans of IKTYA and last Happily D. But it seems like they stock more WC cans at CM location. No or not many hazy cans at CM. That’s okay with me.

I’ve been been fortunate enough to be getting growler fills of ipas from SARA every couple weeks. Their ipas are somewhat cloudy but it’s due to being unfiltered. I still think of most of these as “west coast”. Am I right?

I just got my MT beers from my (super awesome) trustee and am loving Max w/ Strata. It's got a really nutty character to it. Very much not hazy. I wish I got more. It's fantastic!

New brewery SLICE BEER CO near Sacramento is already winning awards for WEST COAST IPAS....

People choice at the Bistro Fest IPA competition during SF Beer Week. Double IPA (Doobie Snacks) and Triple IPA (Wombo).

I really hope their cans are distributed to SD -- and priced better than the bottles.

What's the consensus on the Societe cans? I haven't had Pupil or Apprentice in a long time, but those were some of my favorite WCIPAs.

    Fixed it for ya.

Evan and team still haven't come clean to admit if they're simply just trying to rename the WCIPA to CA IPA or if this is somehow a slightly different interpretation.

Personally, I think they're just being goofy.

Urban Roots thread reminded me that Like Riding a Bike was.perhaps the best wcipa I tried last year. Not sure if they packaged it ever.but I saw it on tap at what I imagine is the far reaches of their distro.
Also, don't sleep on Ghost Town out of Oakland. Got a few different kegs up.here and they definitely ride the boundary with how hazy a few were in appearance but the flavor was delicious tangy/bitter/sweet and super crispy. New brewer to me but I was told they've been working a 1 barrel system for a few years and just added a larger (5 barrel?) Set up so kegs should be more available at your finer beverage emporia

Like Riding a Bike was canned several times. It is almost their flagship WC IPA. Very good. A bit underrated by most on untappd.

The cans of Pupil I've been drinking (canned 2/13) taste better to me than the last few times I've had it on draft outside the brewery.

So many decent IPAs from PP and they seem to have ignored the haze craze. My current favorite is Surfari. Just in the last year 16 oz cans of In The Pit, Jetty IPA, Party Shirt, Pickleweed Point, South of the Pier, Chirpin’ Bird and DIPAs Sidewalk Surfin' and Kook. Whatever is new shows up at Trader Joes.

I live in the land of murk and glurk (murk with large floaties) and do look for relief in the form of a nice clear (with a little hops haze) West Coast IPA. My go to is Wormtown's Be Hoppy, my favorite so far is Bad Boy from Alpine.

I would also like to take this time to complain about how Beers that should not be murky are murky in this region, e.g. Brown Ales, Pale Ales, Amber/Reds and even some Octoberfests!!!

When I’m willing to go for a IIPA and I see fresh cans I always grab Lupulin Lust from Rip Current. The classic citrus and pine.

I’m assuming that’s a joke, but you can’t tell with just text. 2020.
I’ll review it in the next couple days as I’ve never had it but <1 month old refrigerated seems acceptable for freshness.
