I think this is a great new feature.

The pulldown wasn't listing nearly as many countries before.

It's a fantastic idea, but it looks like low traffic in smaller countries might skew the results.

I can only speak for Ireland; there are plenty of great beers here - I've rated 106 of them as 4 or better.
But with the threshold of 10 reviews to be included in the top 100, the Irish list ends up having beers with ratings in the 3.6s and 3.7s near the bottom.

Not sure how easy that is to resolve, but it'll probably favor older entries + exports, too.

As far as i can see the list for Dutch beers consists mainly of beers that have distro abroad as there's hardly any Dutch guys rating on here. So the list is severely compromised.
BA is still a predominantly US driven site so i'm not sure this is a usefull feature.

I liked the direct link to the USA to be honest, but not that big of a deal.

Will be great to remove or duplicate US to top or bottom for faster scrolling.

I love it, a top 100 Belgium and Germany list gives me something else to work on!

With all due respect, as far as the top 100 of Italian beers are concerned, this is very far from reality.
Probably for the reasons suggested by @BasWassenaar.
So the algorithm to compile this list is surely based AT LEAST on anachronistic data.
In fact, in addition to the data that common experience offers me ... The beers of breweries passed from craftsmanship to industry are at the very top (see Birra del Borgo, Birrificio del Ducato ...).
In short ... needless to say that many of their beers are unquestionably made more appealing to the market by betraying their most authentic characteristics (example: Rubus di Birra del Borgo, born as a framboise, becomes a jam, less angular, less astringent, sweeter / fruity and suitable for the average consumer).
So it is clear that I am not saying that the calculation method or other technical things were wrong, but simply that with the current reality (without in any way contemplating personal tastes).
