    Jirin Aspirant (227) Apr 28, 2013 Massachusetts

    Ommegang
    Sam Adams
    St Bernadus

It was harder than expected to make this list. Other than Ommegang, breweries tend to fall into two categories for me: Breweries that make one beer I really like, and breweries that make several beers I like. For instance, Sam Adams. There's no one beer from them I can say is a spectacular beer, but pretty much all of the dozens of varieties I've tasted are at least good. Plus I go to their open houses whenever possible.

    2. Odell
    3. Bell's
Wildcard: Tallgrass - they don't do crazy one-offs or special runs, but I think that all their beers are solid (minus the IPA, which is soon to be replaced with "Ethos"!!)

Out of what I have had so far, which is the entire catalog of DFH and Stone, my third spot is in flux but it my as well be a local that is close.

    1. Stone
    2. DFH
    3. Flying Dog/Burley Oak (local) or Firestone Walker
