Check back next week......
one trick pony
I could also have named Hair of the Dog, Drie Fonteinen, De Dolle, De Molen, Russian River, Three Floyds, Närke, Kernel, etc. but sadly, that would have made more than 3...
tie Odell/Sierra Nevada (is that cheating?)
New Glarus (not crazy about the usual lineup, but Dancing Man is my staple all summer, and the Thumbprints are almost always excellent) I really wish He'd bring back the Alt.
Right now it's
New England Brewing
1.) Great Lakes
2.) Sierra Nevada
3.) Three Floyds
1. Dark Horse
I wish the last one existed, damn they would have great beers of every style!
I think he said best in the U.S., although I wish that those breweries existed in the U.S, I dont think they do. If they do Please point me in the direction of Drie Fonteinen U.S.A, I think I will live there.
Mine are always in flux, but lately it's Rip Current, Societe, and Lagunitas (where's my damn Imperial Red?!)
I'm pretty new at this so I haven't tried many beers from the highly acclaimed breweries but as of now it is:
2. Maine Beer Co.
It's amazing to me how awesome Samuel Smith is no matter how many beers I have.
Great Divide, Odell's, and Tallgrass.
For me it is:
2. Jack's Abby
1. Southern Tier
2. Great Lakes
3. Unibroue damn it not in the US
X. Three Floyds
Y. The Bruery
Z. Ayinger (answer to thread title)
Zp2. Stone (answer to U.S. only)
Girardin (gave me a lot of time and help)
I'm basing this on the breweries I've had the most beers from and liked the most from
2. Sierra Nevada
1: Russian River
2: Firestone/The Bruery (tie)
Right now it's probably Founders, Lagunitas, and Troegs. Really, all three always have solid to great lineups and do so at great prices for what they make. Especially Lagunitas. I still am kind of amazed they put out what they do at the prices they do. My $40 case of Sucks (plus tax) is probably my best beer purchase for the year.
1. Three Floyds
New England Brewing Company
1. Three Floyds
1. Russian River
2. Ballast Point
2. Southern tier
I finally got around to counting up all the votes. According to everyone's collective opinions, the top 3 breweries are as follows:
1. Founders with 348 points
2. Stone with 148 points
3. Lagunitas with 141 points
There were some close to the third place spot, namely FW and RR. Anyone surprised by these? I had no idea Founders would take it by such a large margin.
