And yes, I did wait until I turned off the car...
Never heard of it, and I live here... Crescent Moon is all I know!
I just got my car back from the shop and then I went pick up a six pack Alpine Spring. Happy 100 WBAYDN.
Right back at ya!
Went with the oak-aged tonight.Relaxing with some Circa Survive. Cheers all!
Watching the Bruins vs. Canes.
Having some vegan southern food and a west sixth IPA...
Fried faux chicken, mashed red potatoes, and green beans with white truffle oil. Wish I'd had a nice Belgian to go with this, but it's all good. Cheers all!!
Holding off for a while because I've got some reading to do and something of a lesson plan to whip up before teaching tomorrow morning . . . but I've got a mini-growler of Oak Aged Yeti waiting for me as a nightcap.
Almost afraid to ask, but what is the faux chicken?
I was bummed when I was only able to secure one bottle of Enjoy By 2-15-13 before it vanished in my area.......then I went to dinner at my favorite pizza place tonight and saw the most wonderful sight. Enjoy By 2-15-13 on tap. Yes please. After two I am good to go.
Relaxing with some Hopslam and guitar...
This is one fine beer here!
Still going through beer from the fridge in the theater room...
Haha. That's a very common reaction. It's sounds sketchy at first for sure. It's just like vegetable protein and wheat gluten. Then we season it and cook it like regular chicken. It's actually pretty good. My wife is vegan, but I only eat vegan at home. It isn't like real chicken, but it's pretty damn good!
Soooo good. Sadly it is my last one.
Homebrewed IPA and eating strata made from cheese fondue leftovers
My first ever Bourbon County Coffee. Damn.
Because Super Bowl weekend is coming up, I say I go for two.
2010 St. Bernardus Abt 12:
Bourbon County Coffee followed by some Palate Wrecker
I want your glass. And you Hopslam.
Having a stout night. Started off with SN Narwhal.
Now I'm working on a WnB. Last one so I'll have to make a stop tomorrow and stock up. Damn I love stouts!!!

Alright, this one's been calling my name for a while now...
Pretty tasty, hoping it gets even better as it warms...
Jack's Abby Saxonator. A legendary malty beverage that tastes of legend
Well's Bombardiere almost tall boy can. Hitting the spot quite nicely
We're going for the field goal.
Now working on one of these
I took a risk on these with no bottle on date in sight. While it's still pretty good, its definitely past its prime.
Bruins/Canes all tied up going into the 3rd. This should be a good finish!
Awesome! I tried that last week at a tasting.
Which bottle capper are you using? It looks like it's doing a better job than the one I use.
I recognize that Big Beer glass. Which Sharp Edge are you at?
Was looking for hopslam and palate wrecker today. Could find either, walked into half a case of Bourbon County instead. Enjoying my bcbs now with the father-in-law.
Enjoying this 2012
Was in no way blown away by this on tap at the Anniversary Party, most likely palate/brain fatigue. There is something to be said about enjoying a beer in the proper glassware, in your PJ's, watching Bourdain. I ended up giving it a ripe 4.81, my highest rated Imperial Stout, sorry RareR D.O.S. and BA Plead...
Mmm . . . that is a tasty beer. Even if it is an IPA.
Starting the night with this:
