hasn't hit stores here yet...hopefully tomorrow!!
My wife and I preferred this to BCBCS if you can believe that
I forgot it was 2013
Moving on to some 2010 KBS, cheers all!
Goin' H.A.M. with beergorrilla...
The Bruery Black Tuesday
The Bruery 100% BA Cuir
Olde Hickory Lindley Park
Deschutes The Abyss (2012)
Firestone Walker 14 Anniversary Ale
Favorite beer on the planet. Just picked up some Pure Hop myself as I couldn't hit the brewery this week.
I haven't tried BCBCS but I can believe it! This stuff is awesome!
WE MUST REVOLT AGAINST THE BCBCS!
I was not a fan on the BCBS but maybe I will try it again next year...
... how... How are you still alive? I know I've asked that before, but splitting a Black Tuesday and then a Cuir should be plenty to get two people pretty drunk.
You will soon
My wife is getting down on all of these too. We got a BB4D on deck too! LNBA 4 Life!
LIKE! Can't wait for your box, you seriously have no idea how excited you got me with the latest addition!
Ah, I love this glass. It was my first 'real' beer glass. I got mine at the brewery, but it looks like you can get it online here: http://shop.harpoonbrewery.com/index.cfm?fa=shop.detail&productId=5674
Love this beer!
Monstrously delicious as usual...
Mike, what did you think of the Lindley and the 100% Cuir?
how is it? just snagged one and looking forward to it.
I liked them both a lot. Lindley was like chocolate covered raspberries with a slight bourbon sweetness. 100% Cuir was sweet bourbon, caramel, brown sugar and toffee. Little bit of vanilla. Still fairly boozy.
Right there with ya OP.
Usually my Fridays are the day that is crazy and stupid, but Monday won this week. Here's to the rest of the week tapering off.
It's good! Ready to drink now.
Old Rasby. I can't take a picture because my phone is dead. I found this guy old and dusty on the bottom shelf of the store last week. I have no idea how old it is. Only had once before but on tap. I can't stop drinking stouts!
Love this beer. Last one in town, can't wait for the new batch.
Enjoying a beer while doing Structures homework; typical Monday night. Cheers!
It's Hopslam tonight, yum!
It's not Nelson but it'll do.
Just home from work and I cracked another sucks. I think it NN next.
On tap: Started with
Now this for a nightcap:
Prepping the palate for a NEBCO assault tomorrow....
Enjoyed Red Chair to begin and Odell's Myrcenary to end. I can't believe how great Myrcenary is.
Had a nice evening with some FIS, Hopslam and of course some Lagunitas Sucks. Should sleep well tonight!
After the X-Slam, I'm sampling the Hopslam and Expedition Stout separately.
Of the extreme black and tans I've tried, I still like Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree & Plead the 5th best, X-Slam is a close second, and I didn't care for Dogfish Head 120 & World Wide (Heaven and Hell) much at all.
The REAL question here is what do you call the Double Crooked Tree/Plead the 5th Black & Tan?
Plead the double crooked 5th tree?
Just enjoying that Oak-Aged Yeti now, and it's reaaaaally quite nice. I have to say though, I think that bottle of Founders Imperial Stout I had recently kinda set the bar for the style for me. I've been steadily enjoying RISs more and more and I haven't caught the barrel-aging bug (yet, anyway), but FIS kicked the shit out of me the way a roller coaster does, y'know what I mean?
Still, this version of Yeti is quite nice. Not sure if I like it better than regular Yeti, but it's plenty enjoyable. Now I feel compelled to try the Espresso and Chocolate versions . . .
