    Good evening, BAs. Getting into a bottle of Saison Rue - my first - to go with dinner.

    Chicken fajitas for two, but obviously really for one.

    Two year old bottle; really interesting. Much, much sweeter than I expected. I'm curious how this will change when I get closer to the bottom of the bottle and more of the Brett character comes through.

    I've had many a beer at the MM in Panama City Beach, FL. I cannot imagine the MM experience without beer. Maybe the KY location without beer is just temporary.

    Drinking a Naukabout White Cap IPA right now as it was the first beer I hadn't already had at the store here on Cape Cod. Not great but not to bad. Trying to flush out a kidney stone I had blasted this morning.

    Man, there's a slice from my youth! Probably also one of the first beers I drank. A friend of mine & I split one we found in the woods in Roanoke Rapids, NC 1975-ish. The warm beer put me of trying another for another 4 years as I recall...:astonished:

    It is certainly a touch hazier on the second pour, as I approach the bottom of the bottle. Still clear enough to read through, though, up close.

    Still remarkably sweet, though. I like it, but I don't love it for a saison.

    COAST HopArt IPA. Nothing wrong with this one, but doesn't stand out to me as spectacular either. I do like the can design though and 16 oz cans is a great format for IPAs and DIPAs.

    found it on the clearance rack. It's a bit part it's prime, but still very interesting. Not what I expected it to taste like at all. A lot of the herbal qualities have probably faded. I enjoyed it none the less!
