Properly cellared and < $3/each...Win!
My personal feelings of the shift in climate is simple: the earth does as she will and it is us humans who have to change with it. This challenges everything we know about seasons as WE define them. I could go much deeper but shant for this eve...
Finally getting over this damn cold I've had since Friday. Celebrating by drinking a Fat Tire
The hops have subsided, but are still around to keep the malt in check. I totally agree that fresh, this beer has a very bittering hop presence. While it's drinking great at 3 years, I'm real curious to see how it would do with 5 or even 7 years on it. Based on my experience with a fresh, 1 yr, 2 yr, and 3 yr I'd say it's best years are still ahead!
Third glass so far... Just so tasty and easy to drink this growler might not make it through the night
Followed by alpine spring, yuengling, snow drift porter, and a guinness. Quizzo bar beers not so good :-(
Sucks. Then maybe a Centennial.
Moving on to a Troegs Nugget Nectar, bottled on 01/22/13.
First time having it... Damn this is a tasty beer!
I'm settled. I'm well-settled. It's a great rivalry, but not nearly as great as the old Hawks/Stars rivalry.
Not gonna be getting this one again. Sierra Nevada disappoints yet another time...
I was disappointed to find out that my local bottle shop sold through all of their Hop Slam, but this six of White Rajah is cheering me up.
This is helping me feel better, too.
heheh Hey what can I say I have deep thoughts
The Beserker that I had this morning had me sleeping like a baby...My boy swung through and wanted to have a beer...
Started with this...
Moved on to this...
Currently working on this...
Continuing the hop theme
A BA Barleywine Fest tomorrow so saving myself
The White IPA I made is fucking outstanding. WLP400 and lots of coriander and bitter orange peel. Still turned out balanced with a lot of clove and earthy spices with tropical fruits, pear, and peaches with the Zythos and Ahtanum hops.
Cheers to my last Zombie dust. Good night!
Another UK tick - The Tanner's Jack.
I'm pretty tired. A Nugget Nectar and a Stone Smoked Porter might do it for me this evening. It's time to pass out now, kids. G'night.
Last one of the night!
Ignore the 2 Baller stouts my friend just gave me! Doh
Victory at Sea
On a little seasonal kick tonight.
Seriously. Trade for this. If you dont have beer to trade then throw money at people who can get it for you. Oh your broke? Trade your children, wife, mother, that kid that you sent 5 cents a day to. It doesn't matter. Get this beer in your life. I have a review up here. I was blown away.
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
When chocolate chip cookie dough and bourbon made a love child, they named it Silva Stout.
Green Flash Silva Stout 2013

Like, like and LIKE!!!!!
Last beer of the night will be a Snow Day by New Belgium
Bought a single of Guinness Foreign Extra. Long time, no had. Pretty good. Still like Extra better. Keep yer Draughts and yer Colds and yer nitro can stuff.
It's pretty damn good. Definitely rye-forward but it doesn't take away from a very smooth, golden base beer. If you end up grabbing some tomorrow you should let me know what you think. I plan on writing a review tomorrow at some point.
First time trying this
