Happy to have TG in MN!
Last of the new BP bottles I got today.
Sure rub it in, sheesh.
Thanks! She's probably more like 80% the better part.
Man, some Lagers just drink too easy Almost 6:30 here in NOVA & I'm onto #2:
Had to crack open a 2nd 'cause by the time I was getting ready to review the first one...it was gone...
Not a BOC fan at all, but I do like this one :-)
Great tunes my friend!
This is my kind of substance abuse! Such a lovely beer-- it's the perfect "I just got home from work and am hot and grumpy" antidote! Cheers all!
I aims to please! :-)
Love this stuff more than the 1st time I had it!
Really nice IPA out of Brooklyn. I always enjoy drinking it. Cheers!
Time to hit the reset button on the old tongue. I was skeptical about this one, but all of the flavors really work well. Woody, with coffee and the amber ale toasted malts. Very nice balance.
Featuring Mr Joe Walsh
I know, I know its early. But SN does it again nice Oktoberfest!
Seems like I never have high-hopes going into Local Option brews, but they just keep impressing.
I feel like I earned this one tonight. Who knows if that's true but I like it.
I hope you have a happy beer in your hand. Later
Ugh! Was gonna take it easy tonight, maybe not have a beer, but then a plumbing issue at my place (where a friend is staying for a couple months) put me into a different mode. Need something a bit strong to start at mellow me out a tad:
Still juicy, still a nose of pine, but the opening is a bit sweeter in a relative sense than a couple weeks ago. Actually a bit cleaner at the low end of the IPA temp range (warmth seems to add more maltiness). Still think it'll do the job.
Sam Adams Octoberfest on the train ride home from the office. I really like this beer.
Nice sweet flavor on that - I do remember the mouthfeel being a bit on the heavier side for the style. What do you think?
Nice cellar pull!
Sorry man meant that more for: I won't wait on line for Dinner, or stay in the hotel up the road the night before the release.
I'd be more than happy to send you some .....
Prairie BOMB!, prefect after a rainy day, cheers!
Here is some other good Kelso
Haven't posted in awhile...cheers to all BAs!!!
That's ok, mo meed for that, although I appreciate the offer a lot! Thanks!
I love this Brew and This Movie...but Heroin is a Drug like no other. I stick to my Alcohol/Herb nowadays.
It's really gonna suck going back to reality in a few days, could 'SO easily get used to this life style pretty darn quick!! (This does NOT include posting from a dumb phone since we're staying somewhere with no WiFi...trying to post on here via the dumb phone is like shoving a fork up my *** sideways. )
I can't thank @LeperJim enough for this pre-cellared bottle, it aged incredibly well and is absolutely fantastic!
And another shout out to @SanFranJake for these two bottles, a favorite of ours (his and hers!) as we share some mom and dad time together.
And still goin' ... whatta day!!
Musical selection: Erie Ford - "Back Home Again In Indiana".
(Don't have the patience any more to battle this phone and the painful dysfunctional incompatibility with this website!!) Prost!!!
Thanks again @Xanthras ! Cheers!
Smoke and dagger
well finally on the 4Beans parade today.
A little rain here in NH so no garden pictures today.
Really loving this from Three Floyds, cheers.
" yo Ahab can I bum my doobage?" Haha
JD Hoyt's, Minneapolis, Bell's Two Hearted, such a great old friend.
Very cool. What town you in. You know I went to Ball U, and I think you went to IU. I know Muncie had the worst tap water...ruined my fro back then
I liked it a lot. Had a nice caramel and malt sweetness that I thought played well together. I have to say I liked Pumpkin Down a lot more.
Last of the Oktoberfest/Pumpkin beers for tonight. At least they were all very good beers.
And here (here) is the collab between Otter Creek and Jack's Abby, Joint Custody, a hopped up pilsner of sorts. This brew's been receiving a decidedly mixed reaction in the New England forum. Detractors are picking up notes of smoke and band-aids. I'm not picking up either, just a general dankness over a pils base. Works for me, though if I'd picked it up expecting something I'd recognize as a pils I probably would have been confused and then frightened and then angry. Luckily I knew what to expect before the fact, more or less.
The pic's poorly focused, not unlike myself. Have a lovely evening, folks.
