In the SMS vs. KBS debate: KBS is the winner. Did a side-by-side blind tasting two nights ago and KBS was the winner.
We thought Ovila Dubbel was more barrel influenced than base beer. It was good but definitely leaned to the barrel notes. Not complaining though! Cheers BAs! And happy Friday
Stupid good! I've really like everything he's put out, but this Cut series has been ridiculous!
Terrific Ballast Point Dorado
First time I've ever had this and...wow!
Stupid dank, zesty, just awesome. This might be the dankiest IPA I've ever had. Well deserving of its 100 on here. Cheers.

Okay back after dinner, resetting the modem & fighting with the dog. Time get him in for a nail trim, I'm now bleeding on my calf, ankle, & hand. That pup is cray-cray. My son is watching The Science of Stupid, but not for long, I have another preseason game to sleep through FFF Space Station Middle Finger; the pickings were slim in KY for FFF this time...
So, I just finished a third Stone IPA, and it was still holding up great, flavorwise, but it still seemed like it was time for a palate refresher. Schlenkerla to the rescue-
It's amazing when you change styles radically like that- a quick drink of water and that next beer is tasting like it's in all its glory. Incremental steps don't seem to work as well, especially after an IPA...
Some cover tunes like I promised in reference to @DukeCola -
Sandy Denny and Ian Matthews harmonizing beautifully on this Leonard Cohen song.
An extra for @champ103 -
The same lineup doing the definitive version of that Dylan song.

Short's Noble Chaos. M. Cabrera is back for the Cats so maybe they can win one. Cheers LNBA!
Having an old favorite from 18th Street...Sinister DIPA. Remember this was the first beer brewed and bottled by them a few years back. They've come a long way since then. Still as good as I remember. Juicy tropical and citrus fruits with a nice sweet malt backbone.
Good evening BAs! Starting off with this one from SN. Cheers all!
Congrats on your new addition! Here's to many years of good times as a way of his thanking you for saving him. Cheers to you!
Having a glass of Old Stock Cellar Reserve (Bourbon) by North Coast on tap at The Thirsty Sasquatch.

Had a few Aslan Brewing (Bellingham, WA) beers at lunch (Wit, Brown, Saison De Velo), now sitting down, watching the piss-poor Seattle Mariners with a Lagunitas High-Westified. Hope the Seahawks game is a bit better ... though I hate pre-season football!
Cellar pull , venison tacos and watching my team . Life is good.
Ok, been waiting to crack this one open for a few weeks, here goes nothing.
Strong sour smell, really nice, but it just doesn't come through in the taste. Scratching my head after the first glass. Was really looking forward to having this, but as a sour it leaves a lot to be desired. Having said that, it is still a delicious beer, just a bit of a curve ball compared to what i was expecting.
14th Star Brewing Company - Maple Breakfast Stout
My first Three Floyds...and this certainly is a monster...

Spinning a death/doom classic with the mighty Incantation. Cavernous metal for Horns up Friday! \m/
A magnificent brew; beautiful oily pour, with a slow, pregnant, vanilla ice cream head. Smooth coffee, cocoa, and dark fruit up front with a roasty dark chocolate finish. Ever so frothy. Cheers to the evening.
