Not too bad. Once I poured it I wish I poured am IPA instead so my thoughts on it might be a little low, but overall it was a good beer.

Someone today mentioned that this Sam Adams beer was good so I'm giving it a shot before I open up some of my favorites in a bit. Cheers!

Great Divide Colette. This is what I want a saison to be. Refreshing yet rustic and not overloaded with spices.

Just masterful. I had the pleasure of seeing Gilberto Gil appear briefly in concert in Salvador, Bahia in 2006 with Olodum and some other singer, maybe Marisa Monte. Regardless, I love Gil, I love this song, I love its composer (João Gilberto) and his recording just as much, and I love Bahia. Saudades . . . boa noite, galera.

    Friday Night re-rate night!

Haven't had this since 2010 lol. Really nice stuff as expected.

:grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:. My palate must have been at the kids table when I had this in early 2011. This is probably one of the top 3 most complex beers I have ever had in my life. Bottled in Aug 2009. The nose is an EASY 5/5. Taste is raisin, fig, molasses, toast, toffee, prune, leather, tobacco, chocolate, roasted malt, dark bread, light char, earth, wood, and herbal earthiness. FUCK. Just gave a 4.7, and I have hardly given anything even a 4.3 lately.

I've been looking all over for this after being impressed by the Golden Monkey 750 I got last year. Had this before I even liked Belgians. As for now, I have to say this is highly excellent. A bit bready and nutty; with nice fruity yeast complexity and no booziness at all. Victory may get hate from some of you, but I have been satisfied with most offerings. Great Quad.

Homebrews and Sucks and Netflix next. Cheers
