little friday night brewski.
I have not - I'll be sure to check it out after this one, thanks for the suggestion!
Glad I was able to meet you bud. Cheers!
Friday ~ yes!
Saved for Fridays.
Tall Grass 8 Bit. Very good. More like an IPA to me.
Next, another generous offering from mklever42
Is there a picture under your cap?
Disapointed in that one. Going to be tough to get myself to drink the rest of that sixer, not 'cause its horrible but because the temptation to drink other, more enjoyable beers could be too great.
Now onto a much more reliable beer.
Drinking a beer from the best new brewery in 2012, Pipeworks. Santa Vs. Unicorn.
After hearing so much about this beer I went into tonight with very high expectations.....which were wildly surpassed. Excellent beer.
Cheers to Pando for sending them, and to everyone on this start of the weekend!
#3 was a bit of a gusher!

Bell's Black Note... Perfect balance of Bourbon
thanks to pschul and robbiemoy. cheers fellas!
Went to a restaurant that serves craft, because their website listed that they had Sucks. Got there and their board said Daytime. Was bummed, but ordered it. Never had either. Immediately, I realized that what I was drinking HAD to be Sucks, and sure enough it was. Amazing. Great two days. Fresh Hopslam, Nugget Nectar and Sucks.
Also had Great Divide Fresh Hop Ale, which was good but after Sucks, sucked.
Third, I had a Church Works Brew Double IPA (I assume this was their Thunderhop IPA). Impressed. They're really off the radar but won quite a few medals at the GABF this year. I might have to start the hype train for these guys. It's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL brewpub and their beers are severely underrated, I assume because it's not from Philadelphia.
No pics, because I feel like an idiot taking pictures of my cup in a restaurant.
I've seen this numerous times but never pulled the trigger. How is it?
#3 Hop Wallop
That beer is amazing fresh. We just got some fresh here in Jersey. If you want some BM and I'll send you some.
One of my favorite holiday porters and my last one. Need to pick up more of these next year.
I'm glad I saved it until now. It was hard to let it sit, but I appreciate dubbels more when kept in the cellar a while. Liked it well enough to give it a 4.21. I say go for it, man.
Had to clean out my tap lines tonight in preparation for Super Bowl. So I decided to crack this open.
Not a beer, but starting off my night with a great root beer from a solid brewery.
Eh.....I cant say i really enjoy this. Its not terrible but not my favorite of saisons. Gonna drink it, but gonna finish up my Sucks afterward. Just in time to pick up some Nectar.
Hey, this was really good!
Tumbler, from Sierra Nevada
Probably a style I haven't found great success with, but this beer was just... alright, it was great!. I must've overlooked Sierra Nevada when I first got into craft beers, but 2012 was a great SN year for me - everything I've had from them has been fresh, crisp, delicious, and unbelievably quaffable - this Tumbler was gone in, like, less than 10 minutes (before I was done with the review(!)), which is really unlike me.
Really good drinking from an excellent brewer.
Alpine spring really isn't bad. The racer 5 is damned good!
Such a great Witbier!
Picked this up this evening after passing on it a dozen times...and I'm going to clean the bottle shop out the next time I'm there.
Started off with a Sixpoint Resin at dinner out (no pic). I have given a bunch of Sixpoint beers a try, and have realized that they are just not for me.
Now home watching Caps-Flyers game and enjoying a Backwoods Bastard. Cheers all!
Playing with my new phones settings and drinking some tasty beer
Such a sick tap handle.
420 mellow with this song and a delicious odells 5 barrel PA
Had a flower power tonight as usual and now switched to this:
Happy Friday fellow BA'ers!
KBS, one of my last. Glad the release is right around the corner
Now on to beer. Starting off my night proper...
Moving on next to a predictable choice. The best IPA I have guzzled in 2013.
a wonderful sasion. another reason to trade.
First of many from a growler of 6 Point Resin.
PS - aren't those nasty looking bananas? The wife tells me she's making bread. Not for me.
