I am not a huge Duclaw fan and would think I would hate this. BUT It is a great beer to share with someone after dinner.

 

Very pleased with this one. Seriously the frothiest, longest lasting head of foam I've ever seen on a IIPA. It's like sipping a cloud.

 

Good morning everyone! This one's from last night, but don't fret, I'll post one soon for today as well. The Patsy tasted like I just bit into an Almond Joy. There are a plethora of coconut and mocha notes in this beer. I was very impressed, and I hope to be getting more soon!



Also, my friend tried to steal it...he's now, well, "Sleepin' wit da fishes." Cheers!

 

Sweet finds, indeed! It is weird how the glassware seems to come in waves.....days and weeks go by and I do not find a single glass at a group of 3-4 thrift stores I frequent regularly.....then BOOM! A bunch appear all at once! Love the hunt and excitement of finding new stuff, and cool vintage older glassware.....these will definitely be making appearances in the WBAYDN posts!!

Why my wife is awesome on vacation:
1) Earlier in the week, while out shopping for antiques, she spotted a local Brewery and got me a (full) growler.
2) We showed up here without coffee. Big mistake. Instead of my single-farm Columbian, I get Folgers from the local Kwik Stop. (Is that like drinking Bud Light for the buzz???) Horrible. Well, while out getting some stuff for the kids, she found a local coffee roaster and got me a bag! Winner. (She picks sweet flavors, but it's still awesome.)





Now that I'm sufficiently caffeinated, on to my other vice. Finally putting the Broodle to good use. That's a GF Sculpin.

 

Lunch / car beer.....one of my all time favs....at any time of the day or night

Sooooo glad it is so widely available here in the beer's "home turf"....love it!
