    Something dark and roasty after a long walk in the fog with the mutt. The 12/10/14 batch is creamy chocolate smooth right now. This should hold me over until Breakfast Stout shows up. A little rain over the weekend has the mosquitoes at the unbearable level once again. I'm not a fan of winter, but a killing frost will be welcome to rid the landscape of pests!

    Well, it's from Southern Tier, so you've got to be careful - for me the quality of their beer is like flipping a coin - may be good or may be bad.

    It isn't just you. I think Pumking is awful. I don't like most pumpkin beers though :rolling_eyes:. I will say it is better ice cold because the cold masks the flavors a little.

    I think last year's Warlock was pretty good, particularly as it aged :grinning:. Haven't tried this year's yet.

    Cracked a bottle of Rum barrel aged Pumking I had cellared for a year last week. Phenomenal !

    How do you drink at the pool from a growler when you didn't bring any plastic cups? Improvise, adapt, and overcome! It was either this or my daughter's Sophia the First cup, and I wasn't willing to share with her.

    It's not actually beer I'm drinking now - I went to brand new brewery San Fernando Brewing yesterday to sample their wares. Sorry it's our of focus... um... it was hot?

    I agree. Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was awful. Way too sugary sweet and this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth

    Good beer for brewery cleaning methinks. I am beginning to feel amazed my skin isn't tomato colored right now. Anyone else just can't get enough of real, e.g. beefsteak, et al, homegrown tomatoes?
