Watching a recorded college basketball game from yesterday that I missed, waiting for the Super Bowl, and enjoying one of these:
Nothing for me until NOTB and EBF.
It's my standard go-to glass, but this is the one I'd really like:
I snatched the picture from another thread. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the party this year, and those damn things seem to be hard to come by at this point.
Unfortunately Nebraska doesnt have too mant options when it comes to beer, but I'll be enjoying a Ranger IPA later.
Starting the night off with NEBCo Gold Stock Ale.... so good
Go big or go home. Today's a big day and therefore a big beer is in order. First one of these after a 3+ year wait. Had a religious experience on first sip. 18 year hiatus for my Niners. Gonna enjoy no matter the outcome. Happy day BA family. Ohhhhh the puppy bowl.
Shoot. Almost forgot.....Sing it boys....
Big John on a cold day,
and some candied bacon!
Dreadnaught by 3F
2 year old Uinta Labyrinth pulled from the cellar. Unbelievably smooth for a 13+%'er.
Belgian Beauty of Glorious Pulchritude
I'm glad you got the 3F version... SO MUCH BETTER!
That looks like a serious balance act.
One I have perfected for both self and beer.
I am actually going to watch the Super Bowl too! My number one sport to play and watch is soccer. So I get REAL hyped during the FIFA World Cup!
Stopped by Bare Hands Brewery in Granger, IN to pick up a couple growlers for the game, and having a 574 Pale Ale...
Starting off with an afternoon porter on Super Bowl Sunday, or as I like to call it Craft Beer Appreciation Day since I always try to introduce new beers to my friends & family at our party.
Sharing this first time try with my girlfriend
My last one. Such a stellar single IPA.
I love this company and this man!
I only call it 'drinking' because there's beer in it.
Pulled slab bacon braised in a maple syrup and Brooklyn Brown reduction (which became the sauce). Served on Hawaiian bread 'slider' rolls. Pretty happy with the sweet and salty result. One per guest unless you sign a waiver.
Being Italian, that comes as no surprise since it's Europe's "Football". This year's Super Bowl means nothing to me (unfortunately)...no Colts, no Bronco's...hope the commercials are killer entertaining as always because that's the only thing keeping me interested this year. (I apologize to all 49'er and Ravens fans for being indifferent.)
Well this is a really good coffee stout, well played Right Brain.
I like this version of "beers on the wall". First time having Gandhi-Bot and it did not disappoint.
Happy to have some great IPA offerings available in New England right now including these two, HF Arthur, Maine Beer Company's Lunch, Harpoon's Leviathon Imp IPA, and Revival's dbl black IPA.
Back to brewing a homebrew IPA based on SN Celebration. Hopefully into the fermenter before the SB begins...
Long time lurker, first time poster. Starting off with a Bell's Winter White Ale, which is a nice changeup from my usual winter favorites. Bringing out the big boys (and hopefully accompanying pictures) during the Super Bowl. Cheers, BA'ers!
Not at all. Really disappointed. Was flat and tasteless. Of course, to hear it told, the taste wasn't all that good to begin with. Anyways, still glad to have tried it.
Started with a Hop Stoopid. Next with be one of the Sam Adams Spring Thaw beers.
Just popped the cap on a Hopslam. On deck: Schlafly AIPA, Founders Imperial Stout and Porter. Might do a double on one or more of these depending on how the evening goes.
Found one of these in the back of my fridge, figured why not

The trick pour gives the perfect head every time
Starting with a Sucks
next level pour status? I think so
Tis very true my friend and the Italia word for it is "calcio" which means kick.
I had a very sad experience when I watched the Euro Cup last year when Spain and Italy played. The pub I went to the first and last time had some jokers betting on the game which I find repulsive and yes this happens in Italy too. But it is sad for people like me who put on soccer shoes and play with heart. Again, I do not think that because I have a standard that others have to conform to this idea but it was still saddening. I just left the pub and never looked back.
Depends on your "style" of chile. Mexican mole sauces use chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, etc so some porters/stouts could work. They will have a much greater influence on the flavor than lighter beers obviously.
Timothy Taylor pale ale (while I bottled a Helles Lager homebrew),
Mary from Hill Farmstead with the game tonight.
As I am getting the food ready to watch the big game, watching Phil tear up the course, I am about to open a Founder's Imperial Stout. Drink good tonight guys!
My lineup for the evening....
