At work currently, but I had this one last night and forgot to post the picture, so I guess I'll put it here now...
I was very impressed with this, honestly one of the best dubbels I've had. Much better than the Pater 6.

Wait....are you people still drinking from last night or are you just having beer with breakfast? What the hell time is it in Texas? Ok, I'm at work but you've prompted me to go have a few sips of Weyerbacher Insanity...for quality control purposes of course.

My bottle shop actually had a special box with four 11.2 oz bottles: (all St. Bernardus) Pater 6, Prior 8, Tripel, and Abt 12, along with the glass - only 20$ ! Couldn't pass it up, but I haven't seen this package there since (and it was the only one they had on the shelf).

Sipping on this right now and just finished up a little article I did on Night Shift Brewings barrel society. You can read it here :)

I am really freaking excited for their first barrel aged released. Brandy barrel aged wheatwine? yes please.

    Cheers ladies and gentlemen!

Well not right now but I will be drinking some Hopslam and Lagunitas right after work! I got there right as they were unloaded the truck - so tempted to snag an entire keg of Hopslam.

Smells like an onion, tastes like tropical fruit. I'll take it.

Victory Hop Wallop... Is this beer really a DIPA?! Way too easy to drink. I love it and can't believe I've gone this long without trying one. The perfect example why it's sometimes best to enjoy the beers that are readily available that you take or granted over chasing the limited runs.

Thought I'd try a new one today. An oak barrel stout with vanilla at $9.99 a six-pack? It seems too good to be true!
And it kinda was. Pretty underwhelmed by this. Super thin, over-carbonated, no oak character, and flavors so subtle they border on non-existent. Kinda bummed I have 5 more of these. Drinkable, but not really enjoyable.
