Dont have a clue what this means but it sounds really smart.

It will probably make more sense after a couple of beers.

    I'm an archaeologist :)

And much to my chagrin, these things don't make much more sense after drinking, in my experience. If I really want to be productive, I usually have to wait until I start drinking, which is a real buzzkill when you've got a shitload of work.

It was quite delicious, and it was really neat to shout out to the brewers while we were enjoying their delightful beer. Gotta tell you tho, their brew Marche de Serment was absolutely heavenly.

Haha, sure does. Honestly, it really wasn't all that bad. But I figured it was old-ish... Little too malt heavy and not quite bitter enough. Thanks for the info!

Feeling very melancholy tonight. Seeing everyone brag about Heady and Hop Slam makes me jealous. But then I open an Odell IPA or a Myrcenary, or a Deviant or a Gubna or a Ranger and realize how spoiled Colorado is.

I'm moving away in ~ 6 months and I can only hope I move somewhere that has as wonderful a selection of breweries as Northern Colorado has.

here's the obligatory picture (definitely one of the best IPA's in the state)

Sounds awesome. What style is Marche de Serment? Didn't see it listed on BA.

Oh, Naperthrill. Glad to know there's something out there next time I'm around.

Get your hands of some Oil Man before you go! Elevation is brewing some great stuff. It got me to write my first full review.

    Cheers!

Renegade's E3. LAbeled as a triple IPA but doesn't taste at all like one. Got the ABV for sure but super floral/fruity and way crisp! Diggin' it.

listening to this. if you haven't yet, probably should.

Will do, the Downpour Imperial Red is still sitting and waiting. When Oil Man makes it to the store I will be grabbing it for sure. A great start-up brewery going straight for the top shelf. Anticipating the new release!

I saw an earlier offer regarding the 750ml D-Simcoe from danedelman...take him up on the offer! ( 'jes sayin'!) I'm by no means a guru when it comes to beer but IMO, I absolutely agree; the cork and cage is more enjoyable and this is an interesting one since it goes into 12 oz and 750 ml bottles...same beer and two totally different experiences. Expect more of a Belgian IPA experience from the cork-n-cage.

They have it listed as a Belgian brown Ale with spices, but there was definitely traces of coffee in the brew. Warm yet lite. They are almost out so head this way for a growler.

I was going to post a new picture, but I have since removed the 'finger condoms'. Took the sharp sting away with some Hopslam and Nugget Nectar. I might be bleeding all over this keyboard right now, but I wouldn't know it.

Is that a Crazy Mountain glass? Their pale ale would be fantastic if the carbonation was ticked up a bit. Still pretty nice.
