Last Black IPa of the night. Saved the best for last.
Not sure yet. It's definitely interesting. Trying to listen to it without bias to anything.
What did you think? This beer changed my life.
That glass is BA. Just sayin.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. BUCKEYES RULE!!!!
Cheers! As you were.
Had a Santa Fe Black IPA, it was alright. Now watching United States of Bacon with a New Belgium Frambozen & some Girl Scout Peanut Butter Patties (my favorite) & waiting for Justified
Founder Backwoods Bastard on deck...
Just had a Hopslam. No, it doesn't taste worse than last year's. It was delicious. The price is kind of hard to justify, but it really might be my favorite IPA.
Ale Asylum Hopalicious while getting caught up on Justified. Such a tasty pale...
on to this guy now
Pretty sweet evening for me and TonyTalon....got to try this for the first time, FINALLY.
wOw. wOw. wOw.
Followed it up with this-
Time for some nachos, and bed.
It is a Crazy Mountain glass! Got it this summer after playing some golf at Red Sky Ranch. Their canned beer is OK, nothing spectacular, but I like supporting the guys there. Cool little brewery I gotta say.
2012 Dark Horse 4Elf, my last one.
Just hit up the Sucks again after a couple homebrews(Belgian Blonde and White IPA). Still got a 6 left, but I think I might need to get some more, or get a recipe for this fantastic beverage. Cheers and good night beer fans
Satisfaction Jacksin is another good one, ever try it?
I haven't had the chance. I'll have to seek it out.
Do you get AA by you?
SNPA and some Fresh & Easy beer called Hammer 30. Former was great as always; latter was very meh.
Fifteen minutes away across the border.
For the second night in a row...
had some Jester King Boxer's Revenge earlier.....
but finishing off some Bud Light i had leftover from a Super Bowl Party *runs away ashamed*
Run faster, we're rounding up the torches and pitchforks! LOL
RI is getting some better craft, an old friend Josh is doing a nice job at Grey Sail and thanks to Nick from Foolproof for the glass last night.
My new glass did not bring my team luck. Hope to see game 3
I'm having on of the foreign extras I got from a friend. He works at Von's, and his coors rep sells him extra beers for super cheap, and this time he bought a bunch of BMC type stuff and some heineken for $20, and the guy also gave him 5 foreign extras.
My friend told me he had some guiness and other beers in the fridge on super Sunday, and I was pleasantly surprised to see these in there. He said "take em all, I won't drink em!".
Great beer, doesn't bear any resemblance to any other guiness products.
2 hopslams and an expedition stout on tap after that.
love that mug
Had a pint of Natian Elephante IRA @ Hawthorne Hop House earlier... Not bad, but not memorable either.
Now enjoying a bottle of Brown Shugga, which is hitting the spot.
I feel like I need to catch up on enjoying some good beers, as I haven't been drinking much the past couple of weeks (been focusing on getting more job apps done), so a nightcap is definitely in order. Maybe two nightcaps...
Next up is Hop Valley's Alphadelic IPA.
After and exit 16 and another nugget nectar its time for bed for me.
Nightcap consisting of The Zombies and a Founders Imperial Stout from 12/11 (thanks again atone!). Great night.
Nightcappin with a homebrewed winter warmer. Switchin the music up...
No. Just the regular distro 12 oz. balloon. Wasn't the 10 Anniv. a tulip?
A Superb dry stout with vanilla and smoke notes. Brewed with a portion of Weyermann Oak Smoked Wheat Malt, and whole Madagascar and Réunion vanilla beans that have been added twice during the brewing and maturation process, for extra complexity.
This ensures ’Charbon’ is a very pleasantly drinkable dry stout, with an interesting aroma and flavour to treat the real beer enthusiasts.
Too early to drink but my last beer was HopDevil
