Hope you have a great day. I've got one of those coming up in few days but we'll have to see what kind of celebration it will bring.

Caught a treble hook from a Fishing lure(thunder stick) today inside my index finger on the top part while picking up the smallie I caught. First time. For the hook in the finger not the beer noodle.

Seen some bad brains the other night on here,,,,,huge fan of them when I Was a teenager.

Getting rid of my beer fridge today, it's a sad day. But I'm moving, so I've gotta lighten the load. Speaking of lightening the load...here's another review beer down the hatch :

    look: 4.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

Served in a tulip, which was a mistake.

Appearance : A 1 oz pour yields a towering head that overflows the glass. The head is unmistakably large. I've been letting it sit for 3 minutes now, and it's just getting to the point where I can reach the beer without a foam mustache. The lace it leaves on the sides are like a heavy soaping, lathered all over the place. The body is light golden butterscotch colored and 80% opaque. Light will penetrate the body to illuminate it, but fingers are just dense, dark shapes.

Smell : Sour bretted yeast, a milky lactobacillus presence, lightly roasted grains, rye chips, and pink grapefruit. It does smell spoiled, like opening a milk jug after its expiration - but that's the active cultures at work here. Looking over the other reviews, it seems mine is more "colorful" than the others. I hope I don't get sick.

Taste : Fairly bitter to start, but mixed with clove and orange peels, followed by banana, pumpernickel, wheat, rye, cereal grains, antiseptic, and a mild burning alcohol presence. The burn stays on the back of the tongue and so does the layer of doughy yeast. I get no bubblegum or other Belgian flavors like the other reviewers are getting. It seems I have an enigma here.

Feel : Creamy all the way to the finish. A mild carbonation pops it up a bit, and it ends dry.

Overall : It's a decent beer, but not something that I'd have again. I may just not be in the mood for it, I can tell my tummy isn't reacting well to this yeast. The orange peel bitterness is interesting at the start, most Tripels start with a high malt bill, this one goes against the grain literally - and finishes with vodka-like burning alcohol. It's worth a try if you're curious.

And a band from Kansas from the Grunge era...

It's been a busy morning here at home. We have guests here from Miami for the long weekend and about 12 others coming for dinner tonight. I made sauce and cooked meatballs and sausage and well assembled 4 pans of lasagna for dinner. I did manage to get about 5 lbs of sausage into the smoker.

And right now I'm having a quiet moment as the rest of the people have gone apple picking for a while. I'm enjoy this new beer from Great Rhythm Brewing

Looks like a milk stout should look. Smells like a milk stout should smell. Tastes? Like a mild, pleasant milk stout.

I am glad you liked. Belgian IPAs are an interesting style and very hit or miss for me. With the Hugh Malone the yeast and hops seem to blend better than others.
Oh...you forgot this in your line up of PBS shows...
