Hey again, BA's! Now almost 2 here in NOVA & I'm onto a new one for me:

Floaties! The chamomile is drowning out any apricot notes here, but it's tasting like a really solid Autumn-ish Pale. I can see a 6er of this in my future, for sure :-)

I am going through in my head all the PBS shows I watched as a kid. We didn't have a Television in the house until I was 7 or 8 and even then it was only a few stations. PBS and WPIX were the two stations I was allowed to watch. This was an old favorite:

My son's 12-1 traveling soccer team, who's only loss was a 1-0 game, lost their opening tourney game earlier to find their way into the losers bracket. At least it gave me a chance to come home and drink a couple beers and watch the Buckeyes game not on my phone. Well, at least the beer is a good thing...

Well, spent a couple of hours shopping this morning at Aldi and Publix

came home fed my youngest son some lunch and then made some pickled sweet n Hungarian hot peppers.

Threw in a sliced garlic clove, a bunch of cracked black peppercorns, and crushed red peppers.

Time for a beer

Hey BA's, here this afternoon with another one, DDC's Charbonniere This is a very smokey beer it smells and is dominated by the smell and taste of campfire smoke. theres some nice buscuit malts below that followed by some caramel. This is one of the few smoked beers I tried that I've found really drinkable. Cheers!

Good morning from Melbourne! It's 5am Sunday here, getting ready for plane to go to Adelaide and wine country. But first a morning stout I picked up this week - "Yin" an imperial from Evil Twin Brewing:



Roasted malt nose. Toasty tongue with bready black anise. Some warming. Thought this would be bigger and chewy at 10%...oh well, gotta finish packing...cheers from down under!
