Bell's Black Note Stout, courtesy of @KBS, this is world class and incredibly smooth and easy drinking, could get me in a lot of trouble!

Since my profession allows for periodic "breaks"...I break from my self-imposed "dry" zone Mon-Thurs...and enjoy life and libation accordingly

Great beer to consume while navigating "real" games (MLB Playoffs) and real "games" (Debates)

great sounds to flow as well....

Cheers BA's...live well and drink better...

Even though you didn't like the beer, if you still have that bottle, you might want to check the label right here ...

... very small white print, but our very own @LeperJim designed that label for the brewery. I enjoyed the beer, but more importantly, saved the bottle because a good friend had his hand in this one.:slight_smile: (He's a humble dude and 'takes a big mouth like me to blab that one! :stuck_out_tongue:)

Keeping with the season , been sitting on this one since May.

Neshaminy Creek Creekfestbeer imp Lager brewed for Phily beer fest 2015.

Ok, so it's an imperial Marzen, done with brown sugar, blueberry honey, conditioned in blueberries in Buffalo a Trace Barrels. 9% Abv.

Nose is all blueberries, IMO love the smell. Dark pour, can't see thru it, not even a bit, great head too 3/4 inch slowly poured . First sip is a fooler, I'm looking at this thinking ba stout, but it's not. Fairly light the Lager style shows itself immediately, still lots of fruit here. Finishes up just a tad sour , in a good way, blueberries are often a bit sour. Definitely not sweet, the kiss of Buffalo Trace is very nice, a compliment not a Bourbon bomb.

Downside it's $25 a bottle. This is a showcase IMO of subtle uses of ingredients that can be heavy, you could quaff this very easily. Some of the Marzen maltiness is obviously lost, it's again obviously not a classically brewed fest beer. Love it though.

Went with something different for my 500th beer (since I've begun ticking every beer that I drink), Finback Brewery in Queens, NY is a fun place to try some beer. Complex and flavorful beer.

My periodic cry in the wliderness rant that no one will hear, or care about---and I get it and am okay with it---but cathartic to do so, nonetheless (fire away, I am good)

As I catch up on posts...I see those who dishonor, ignore or can't comprehend the value/meaning/beauty of the "N" in WBAYDN...the communal moment in time captured and shared with those on site...

    please, try harder...:slight_frown:

posting beers consumed last night....or the last 4-5 you had earlier (without even a passing reference to what you are drinking NOW...or with no comments...use words, please, to at least salvage some semblance of sanity.......

great beers being shared, great vibe (long passed) being shared....no disrespect to that...or the posters in the abyss

bur don't dismiss, denigrate or disrespect the "N"...it deserves a full measure of justice

rant completed, sorry for taking your time, commence with communal consumption...
