    Started with a growler of Oxbow Freestyle Series #33 which was a nice experimental pale ale with equinox hops. Now I'm onto another Oxbow bottle, Blended Oxtoberfest. This is a really interesting beer. I've had the original Oxtoberfest which is a smoked oktoberfest style beer. The blended version is the blend of Oxtoberfest batches from 12,13, and 14 thrown into barrels and aged. This is a very interesting beer with some nice sour notes, but also some nice smoky notes. This is good.

    Good evening/good morning! Starting this 9:30am (Wed) with "White Rabbit Dark Ale" by Little Creatures Brewing, Geelong, VIC, AU. Semi sweet malt with a chalky limestone finish. It's ok.

    Yesterday we drove to Australia's largest wine producing region, Barossa Valley, and visited Schild Estate, and then Jacobs Creek, 2 of the oldest vineyards dating back to the 1840s.

    Then finished the day at Lyndoch Lavender Farm. The large flowers come out in November. The aroma of what is booming now still was quite powerful. Cheers!

    I tried to go out of my lane today at lunch. At a Four sour saison by Upright Brewing out of Oregon. This tasted like a wicked saison, heavy on the carbonation. Reminded me of a laced Sprite.
