Founders 2012 Imperial Stout.... so good following up nice tasting with friends.
Trying to take this 22oz bomber to the head.
Finally made something out of this recipe book from Sierra Nevada. I made a few changes, but this is fucking amazing! I made a PDF of the book if anyone's interested.
Working on the exit 16 now, with the 2 week old 60 minute next.
Just found this Sammy glass in my cabinet the other day, becoming one of my new favorites.
Yea man their IPA is really good its well balanced, definatly worth it. And their imperial red is also very good. Cheers!
Great beer, great glass!
Well, thank you fine sir!
It is a 3 Floyds Teku glass only available at the brewery. I have been trying to trade my soul for one since the day I saw it and I have had no luck trying to get one!
Let me know too!! I need some Teku lovin in my life.
You got it Jose!
Bell's Hopslam...this is the best beer I've ever tasted in my life!!
I think it is pretty tasty. The flavor really opened up as it warmed up a little. I may have to try and procure another one and do a little side by side with some "real" Geuze.
Have a Wachu Saison(HF/Tired Hands collab) and a BCBS with me at the hotel but forget my glassware. I have a pint glass only, so not cool for either beer. Guess I will drink this instead again
ccb hotter than helles and bells special double cream stout
This is still tasting great. Cheers or is Arrr Mateys?
Nugget Nectar number two today. So damn good. This thing is a hop bomb. I could smell it across the room after opening it.
Still wishing Lisa Lisa would take me home.
I fully back and support boilermakers.
I enjoyed it when it was fresh but I just found out tonight it's not one to let sit, a total bummer and I join your disappointment.
The beer manager at the store I frequent saw me buying that and told me that it was scarily drinkable for 10%. He was right. It kicked my ass. Also, awesome job on the deadlift! I don't lift heavy, but I am aware of what a feat that is. Good job!
Moving on to this:
love FW barrel aged series!
Just got out of work, time for a few, starting with this one
Top 3 beers of 2012 for me.
Damn, that's a good beer.
New Belgium Snow Day.
Now on to my favorite black ale.
On to this. B10502 Dec 17 2010
It just keeps getting better. Dissident '12. Cheers.
Last of the night. Good night BA! Question. I have had 3 of these in the bottle, and once on draft. All were the 2013 batch. Is there a reason that the draft version was way more hop forward than the three bottles that were more chocolately?
A local brewery's answer to Pliny the Younger...
I know I said the Jinx Proof was a night cap, but then Shawshank was on again and... well yup.
Last Hopslam in the fridge
ha! the name is great.
I got mine from The Lost Abbey but unfortunately they're sold out right now.
Thanks. I'll check em out.
I see a few Founders Imperial Stouts. I drank one of my 2011's last night and wow was that even more awesome than I remember. Glad I bought it up in bulk. I think I still have 7 or so bottles left.
Drinking a 2012 Stone RIS
"It smells like a bouquet of sin"
Mother of god this is delicious. I wish it didnt have to end
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
Lakefront Big Easy Imperial Maibock. Very fruity and refreshing. Suprised by this one.( I guess really shouldn't be though. 1. Wisco is home to some great breweries. 2. I've had only a hand full of Helles Bocks/Maibocks, but what I've had has been enjoyable. Btw, please bring back Glissade, Sierra Nevada.)
