    Had a short day on the job today so I stopped and got some tacos. Delicious tacos. Then stopped by Binnys to grab a few beverines for this evening. I just pulled a chicken out of pickle brine and fired up the grill, it started raining. It's dark and a little dreary outside so I'm starting off with some Pipeworks barrel aged coffee from Dark Matter.

    "Featuring Ethiopian clones, Red Bourbon washed and Pipeworks Abduction bourbon barrel aged Condor, this blend will open the third eye, putting a glide in your stride, a dip in yo' hip."

    Beer will be consumed as soon as the bird hits the grill. Stay tuned.

    I've got a fairly jacked up weekend in store, so I've got to front load some drinking. Starting out with a Green Flash Imperial IPA.

    I had to take the day off to clean the basement after a sewage backup...not how I wanted to spend my day! Put this and a St. Bernardus in the fridge, both from 2012, back when I rented an apartment and didn't have to worry about stuff like this.

    I get lots of ripe banana, some hoppy funkiness, sweet upfront but finishes dry and slightly tart, with caramel banana in the aftertaste. I love it!
