I gotta say, ever since we started getting bottle distro here for this stuff - this brew has quickly supplanted Stone Go-To as my go-to low-ABV IPA.

A little gift from @5EKF allowed me to try this little experiment. Actually the combo was not that bad, it mellowed out the bold roasted notes of the V@S much like cream can cut the bitterness of coffee. Coffee still comes thrugh (as both beers are coffee infused). Enjoying the Calm a bit more each time I try it, but it's still probably a pass for me with so many other options available. Happy Saturday all!

 

I'm stoked, can't wait 'til it comes out! I just hope they bring back Jar-Jar

 

Sorry to hear the news as well. I was going through the same thing last year with a close relative and know the toll it takes on everyone involved. Hang tough, keep him comfortable and let him know he's loved. It definitely helps the grieving process knowing you did all you could.
