Yes...this brew made me Cum a Hop Cone. I approve this brew!

 

I can only hope this is true as 3 major knee surgeries does make for a bit of instability after a long ride. I am sure it is just tired muscles and they always do much better if I am on the bike a lot.

 

A little overcast in NorCal today...a perfect day to enjoy an ice cold Speakeasy Lager from nearby SF.

 

I've had repeat surgeries on my Face..(Nasal deformity). That pain is Breath Taking. I also have broken cartilage in my right knee..(no surgery yet). I know that pain though after an hour ride, beer usually makes it suck less though. Hooray Beer!

 

Well our flock of roving wild turkeys was back in the yard this afternoon.

I finally found time to stop at my local bottle shop and pick up all the Founders releases out now. So I'm enjoy Founder's Harvest Ale this afternoon.

Well I'm off to make dinner to nights fare is Shrimp and Grits.

 

My first 4 pack of Captain's Daughter...first time it made it's way to my go to beer shop. Canned 10/15...definitely worth the hype.

 

had one of these last night and just finished my last one.

 

This is tasting aight. A little Lemon, Dill and Onion Grass but still in my favor.

Best Pumpkin beer I've found yet, Flat Earth Brewing Mummy Train Pumpkin Ale. It was better on tap, but tastes most like Pumpkin Pie than anything I've yet to have. Cheers!

My wife received terrible news today; her 26 y.o. nephew was in a car accident the other day and was declared legally brain dead and taken off of life support at noon. Never met the young man, but he was in trouble for some time, cleaned himself up and was bettering himself...life sucks at times. What upsets me the most is parents are not supposed to bury their children.
So tonight I raise my glass in tribute to Travis Tallon, RIP.

I hope you're right that it's just muscles. I had surgery on both knees and finally had to have the right one replaced in 2006. Six years of football takes a toll. Take care of the knees, cycle or swim...don't jog with the trouble you're having. Honestly, cycling is probably working that joint more than is in your best interest if the damage came from blunt force trauma. Just a heads up from a fellow BAer that's been there.

not what i was expecting, very sweet and citrusy. not bad! not spectacular either. Big A IPA by Smuttynose is still a damn good beer.
