    This is without question the best Japanese espresso stout I have ever tried :slight_smile:

    :grimacing:. That is all I can say!

    TBH I'm not sure I'd love it so much at those prices. Especially $15 in VT where all the pint DIPAs are ~$13-$15. :astonished:


    Thanks---same for me too, although I haven't tried any other Japanese espresso stouts! It was one of my first 'good beer' purchases way back.

    May very well be my last beer in this house. When I moved in here, I was in the middle of a separation/soon to be divorce with my ex wife. She hated my beer obsession and constantly griped at and belittled me for it.

    In retaliation and a proverbial middle finger, the first beer I had here was Deschutes Black Butte Porter. It was January 1st, at 12:12 AM. I turned over the cap, aware of new beginnings to come, and the cap said back to me, "Bravely Done."

    I still have that cap, and I still have that bottle. Now I'm moving out to start my life with a partner that not only accepts my hobbies, but does them, too.

    Prosit!!!

    I had an awesome morning at the Olde Hickory bottle release. I had the Calico Jack on draft, but didn't take a pic. Now I'm back home after running errands. I've never had this, but it was essentially 'fresher' than the regular one, so I said why not? It tastes exactly the same as the regular. Cheers y'all!

    Back home after 45 miles and 4k' of climbing on the bike.
    Fucking love pre-dawn rides. Of the three hours I was on the saddle, I didn't see a soul for over half of time.

    Great song, but still the best video ever made. You could show it to some 13 year old now and they would have no idea it was that old. Especially since they are all dressing that way again.
