Taking a break from Dead Space 3 for food. Watching The Faint's Dance Macabre DVD from their limited rerelease of their record and drinking Magic Hat Burnpile while eating nachos. Won't buy the Burnpile again. Left Hand Smokejumper is the way to go!

So crazy that my six pack is bottled on 1/29/13 and the North gets it first! I know this is due to the laws of distribution to NJ from Philadelphia.

So I just ran out to my local place expecting to get a 6-er of 60min and/or Storm King to get ready for the snow (rain) tonight and these surprises were sitting there on the shelf just at eye level. Gotta love PA distribution! And BTW, I did get Storm King, too.

The likely 2-3 ft of snow seemed like a good enough reason to break out the HF Birth of Tragedy.

Nugget Nectar is next victim here. Then homebrewed bourbon stout. Snowin' like a banshee here now, inch an hour my guess.

So I've been seeing a few people do this lately and thought it looked fun, plus I just bought a mix-a-six yesterday (plus one Insanity from the 4-pack I bought earlier in the week). Pick for me![IMG]

Stay safe over there guys. We have a nice little pocket of heavy rain out here in California, but nothing compared to the excitement of a super snow storm. You would think they would pick a better name than Nemo though.

A little back story goes with this tonight:

So, my parents recently passed to me my Great Great Grandfather's beer glass (a large snifter); circa early 20th century, and sturdy and old and scuffed from daily use. He had a beer or two every evening and always from this glass. Genealogy can be a funny thing, look at me. Really makes this beer emit the florals in this beer too. Fantastic...sure!

Sorry I didn't rig a pic, but this one is a fair approximation:

    Cheers!
