Brooklyn black chocolate stout
Raiding my "cellar." 2010 Founders Nemesis. Smells like a licorice liqueur. Not as gross as it sounds.
(I'd be more impressed if the caps on every one of those bottles were popped.) In fact, not one of those bottles have a popped top on them (even the ones in the background)...SHENANIGANS!!!!
A local with dinner

It's been a long time since I've had a Samuel Smith's, but I'm braising some short ribs for dinner and needed something to add to the little bit of Espresso Yeti I had capped in the fridge. So I picked up one of these--put half in the braising liquid (with shallots, garlic, broth, rosemary, a little brown sugar, and a bay leaf) and drank the other half.
Good stuff--I'd say RIS has come a long way since this recipe, but it's still delicious.
It's even a red label! Nicely played on your part and also the win at Ohio State!! (BIG fist pump there.)

Yesterday was my birthday and my wife took me to the following taprooms in Minneapolis: Harriet Island, Dangerous Man and Fulton's. I was able to have some great beers at each location. As for right now, I am having a Chainbreaker White IPA.
I remember my first beer.

Just wanted to add: HOLY GOD DAMN this has aged out well.
Thought I would have my monthly BCS as a pre-dinner treat. Got them baby back rib slow roasting in the oven!
