A nice little treat from Vivant; interesting take on the style.
Cleaning out the car with this bad boy. Always a solid choice, if only they distributed to Mo.

And God said to Man, "It's your birthday and you have work at 4 pm, have a beer with breakfast."

This beer is really hitting the spot...
This is one of those beers which I've walked past for a couple of years whilst it's been sitting on the shelf, never paying much attention to it. In all honesty it had alot to do with the rather boring look of the label whilst I hadn't really read much about the brewery itself. Today I decided to give it a try, worst case scenario it should at least be a tasty beer seeing as I've yet to be disappointed by an American craft beer. As it turns out it's a very pleasant beer to drink. It has a nice balance of the citrus notes you expect from an American craft beer and the bitterness you want in a well balanced, refreshing beer. It reminds me quite a bit of SNPA, yet it's a few crowns cheaper here in the monopoly which is always appreciated (just to give you an idea of the prices here, this bottle cost me the equivalent of 2.8 USD, SNPA is around 3.4 USD, per bottle).
I have the day off and starting with a new brew while I prepare for lunch. Its a grey, gloomy, cold day. A bit foggy and a small constant mist. I'll stay inside and cook some corned beef and cabbage.
what did you think of the harvest dance? I thought it was good, but too hoppy for a wheatwine.
Having a Foolproof Barstool American Golden Ale for lunch.
Jai alai from the hammock. It's really sunny right now so I decided to throw on the rain tarp for some nice shade

starting the morning off right
This is an easy drinker for the morning, think the salt 'n' vinegar chips may be overpowering it a bit. Next one is going down all by its lonesome.
Watching Gree Street Hooligans and they keep saying they fancy a pint.
Dammit, it made me fancy a pint. Though im a few ounces short lol
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
I know it's a little early for a 11.25% beer but the label said enjoy this triple fresh so I couldn't wait.bottled 1/4/13.really really good alcohol is not noticeable at all

Day off today so why wait? Another big beer. Like this brewery a lot even if this does taste like a whoppers (the candy) shake.

Just finished lunch with a pulled pork sandwich, a Dogfish Head Bitches Brew and a Laughing Dog Coffee Porter.
Went there for a 3 Beans and they were out.
The one I had was 6 mos old. We thought it was really good, I think it mellowed a bit because it wasn't overly bitter
Omg. For a dessert or to have with dessert it is "holy shit good". Tasted like a peanut butt s'more, and being a fatty, I love that! It is highly highly recommended from me.
Having a lovely selection of beers with my friend!
this is ridiculous. why am I on BA w/o a brew? I'm going down stairs and getting a Yeti! (an homage to my current snowy environment)
Karbach Rodeo Clown. Not really my style DIPA, closer to an American Barleywine.
But on a damp rainy 50somethingF day it is pretty damn good.
Hops to brighten me up, malt to wrap its loving arms around me and whisper, "everything will be OK."
First timer, this is a pretty damn good Scotch Ale.
Stopped by Goose Island, Enjoying a Blind Date Bourbon Barrel Stout and 2010 Broad Shoulders Barleywine....
Outta work and having a Foolproof Backyahd IPA
Last one and next one. Mmmmm
Good time to fire up some Duck Rabbit Milk Stout.
Students fucking sucked today. So I stopped at Total Wine after school. Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale (nice and smooth--relaxing), and a Highland Oatmeal Porter. Lots of oatmeal in this one, so silky and smooth for a porter. i love it.
Just had Sucks, damn good one at that. Now ill pop into a 2010 Fuller's Vintage
