This is one of those beers which I've walked past for a couple of years whilst it's been sitting on the shelf, never paying much attention to it. In all honesty it had alot to do with the rather boring look of the label whilst I hadn't really read much about the brewery itself. Today I decided to give it a try, worst case scenario it should at least be a tasty beer seeing as I've yet to be disappointed by an American craft beer. As it turns out it's a very pleasant beer to drink. It has a nice balance of the citrus notes you expect from an American craft beer and the bitterness you want in a well balanced, refreshing beer. It reminds me quite a bit of SNPA, yet it's a few crowns cheaper here in the monopoly which is always appreciated (just to give you an idea of the prices here, this bottle cost me the equivalent of 2.8 USD, SNPA is around 3.4 USD, per bottle).

I have the day off and starting with a new brew while I prepare for lunch. Its a grey, gloomy, cold day. A bit foggy and a small constant mist. I'll stay inside and cook some corned beef and cabbage.

This is an easy drinker for the morning, think the salt 'n' vinegar chips may be overpowering it a bit. Next one is going down all by its lonesome.

Day off today so why wait? Another big beer. Like this brewery a lot even if this does taste like a whoppers (the candy) shake.

The one I had was 6 mos old. We thought it was really good, I think it mellowed a bit because it wasn't overly bitter

Omg. For a dessert or to have with dessert it is "holy shit good". Tasted like a peanut butt s'more, and being a fatty, I love that! It is highly highly recommended from me.

Karbach Rodeo Clown. Not really my style DIPA, closer to an American Barleywine.
But on a damp rainy 50somethingF day it is pretty damn good.
Hops to brighten me up, malt to wrap its loving arms around me and whisper, "everything will be OK."

Students fucking sucked today. So I stopped at Total Wine after school. Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale (nice and smooth--relaxing), and a Highland Oatmeal Porter. Lots of oatmeal in this one, so silky and smooth for a porter. i love it.
