New Belgium - LOF Biere de Garde
Pretty meh. 3/5
My first was an 'accidental' fridge grab of this:
And which wasn't probably an accident at all (see Freud)! The intended, a Two Hearted, can wait.
Sipping on a pint of alpha king at a local place here.
Lets go flyers
It's real...and it's spectacular.
They're real and they're spectacular!
Wtf is a bog foot? Oops.
I'm going to put down a few of these watch some hockey and the dog show.
Heavy Seas Loose Cannon Ipa.
I assume it's like swamp foot and smells just as bad.
Veritas 010. Really, really awesome. Thanks Totoropanda!
Working a growler of Thirsty Dog Barrel-Aged Siberian Night.. cheers!
Just enjoying a couple Ruthless Rye's.
Starting the evening like this
Funny story - my coworker surprised me with a 6-pk of this on my desk because he saw it in a store and remembered me telling him how cool the label was.
Cheers BAs and thanks Tony.
How is that?
I bought a 4 pack of that a few years ago when it was offered in 12 oz bottles. I thought it had potential but had a huge plastic taste to it that made it undrinkable for me. If they could fix that, though, I think it could be a very nice beer.
Has it improved?
Doesn't get any better. Fresh Flower Power.
I was too lazy to post a pic. Absolutely love this stuff.
And blah de blah de blah de blah and all that praise and everything;
and what else can I say? Love Sucks!
In short, no.
It's got a decent little choco-vanilla thing going on, but there's this cloying tang to it that I am not digging at all. Plus, it's very thin and way over carbonated - hence the "guuuuussssshhhhh." You know...pour lightly and still get a 10FFH (10 f'ing finger head)!
Oh man don't even worry about me, like I said, I was happy to leave that place. I didn't even accept tips, cause since I worked there, I would be breaking some policy. It was just fun and most people liked me doing it, even management had no problem for a long time. Its stupid. Gonna call the cops.
Thats really sad about your Virginia story, actually. I would have just kept playing.
Not a great photo but an exceptional beer. Uerige Doppelsticke
Sculpin again.................. but how can I not for $9.99 a six pack.... I am gonna ride this out as long as I can..........
Lost Abbey Amazing Grace. Yummy.
Stone Double Bastard. First time having this one...
On to this. 1 more left. Been a great month!!
Yeah to one guitar player to another, we always keep playing!
Started with a Sculpin, but hubby took it
Moved on to some very funky strawberry lambic from Mikkeller, hubby wouldn't touch it
Today's "Friday" right?
It's fat Tuesday, even better than Friday.
Sadly I am not drinking at the moment as I am at work. I do however have a Ten Fidy with my name on it waiting for me at home!
Here's my first try at the Blind Pig courtesy of my man, Bud!
10/10, would bang again
I have no idea how they won a medal at GABF for that beer. I have long considered whether to give it a second chancer....now I know not too.
Onto the theme of this thread...
Currently been on a bit of a Bear Republic kick, so at a cafe to do some work and drinking my firs tRacer 5. Dig it.
Thinking about leaving the office, finally, to go home and make a salad, and get some more work done. Might pop out and get some Peeper though, depending on how fresh it is (just hit our area). Happy Fat Tuesday, folks!
(Or Carnaval, for those so inclined . . . <3 )
Oh, and happy birthday to Charles Darwin! FUCKYEAHEVOLUTION! http://wtfevolution.tumblr.com/
