My first tricerahops or anything from Ninkasi at all.excellent beer esp.for price.
I've only had the regular IPA from them so now I'm really intrigued and curious to try this, especially since it's popped up so many times in the past few days. There's a place I like to visit in Wilmington, DE that gets alot of "good" stuff...it's looking like a good excuse to schedule business down there!!
Jumping on the NN bandwagon tonight. Enjoying while watching the B's against Rangers. The B's didn't get the win in shoot out but scratched out a point with a great comeback after being down 3 goals in the 3rd period.
Moving onto a Nugget to close out the night strong and hoppy! Cheers!
Enjoying Mikkeller Orange Yuzu Glad I Said Porter, a porter brewed with orange and yuzu which is a Japanese citrus fruit. Unknown Mikkeller brews are always a gamble, but this is excellent.
Pairs perfectly with Japanese Hiyashi Rice...
Big bear burning cabin
Smitten golden rye ale
Big sky IPA
Spartan's double score
So sorry to hear about your loss, I raise my glass in his honor.
I may have depleted the supply at the shop you are thinking of
This is the first time I've ever had this and holy fucking hell this is awesome. Insanely drinkable.
Left hand Nitro-> Wolaver's Coffe Porter-> 3Beans-> Banana Vanilla Rum from St. Martin. Went quite well with Brisket Tacos. Now will go even better with bed.
I just thought of this since this is a Japanese night for you!
Kuhnhenn Bourbon Barrel Mead.
Oh, I know . . . a childhood friend of mine grew up on a sugarbush, and I think her family's still in business making syrup. Hard to describe how much I like it and what it represents to me. (Again, I know that this may sound weird to other people reading this, but it's a big part of our identity, especially in the North Country. And y'all can keep your Log Cabin maple-inspired breakfast goop or whatever it is.:-)
Had some Saint Arnold Spring Bock, and some blended Petrus with cherries that I can't find in the database here. Though I very much enjoyed. The Spring Bock is as good as has been released. That might be because SA is making a better product, or I am liking lagers more and more.
Anyway listening to one of my favorites:
Grand Teton Lost Continent Double IPA, not bad at all.
Raise the glass to that one!
One of my new personal favorites, love finding new quality beers.
Have a nightcap of nugget nectar. Not much drinking for me tonight, have to be up in 5 hours...
Bahaha. Oh Maru.
Here's tonight's lineup and the nightcap...first go w/ the Hopivore...
Clever name and pretty good tasting to boot!
And to all a goodnight! Cheers!
The absolute best beer I tried in 2012!!!!! I'm now forever ISO.
You should probably switch to hard liquor....
Love this beautiful soul that is Maru!
Batch #2, tarted up quite nicely, fantastic nose and color! Really cool idea.
One of my favorites:
Picked this up while in Washington recently:
Let me know what you'd like for it!
Giving up craft beer for lent (please check your religious opinions at the door, it's a personal challenge)
Going out with FW 16th Anni...
...and nightcapping with...
Rock chalk! I'll still lurk around here!
Just finished a bottle of 2013's batch of Bigfoot. And this is still (and always has been) a damn fine beer.
First time I had Bigfoot, I was sitting in the back of a minivan, on my way to a party during my senior year of college. Bought a sixer at Meijer in South Bend and didn't know what the fuck to do with this barely-chilled, 9+% ABV thing I'd never tasted before. I think I got it again in the winter of 2010-2011, after I'd gotten quite a bit more into craft beer, and loved it. Now I look at it as something like an old, reliable friend—but still a better one than 90% of what's out there, and it's kinda nice to know that it will always be better than 90% of what's out there.
cool label.... but what a freaking spice bomb!
One of my Favorite beers. Almost time for me to get some more.
Cheap simple dinner. Fried chicken with jalepenos and peppered ketchup. Southern Star LeMort Vivant.
If you've never tried fried chicken with ketchup - especially with black pepper - DO IT!
At least it is carbonated, ha, I think I am funny, but not really
