It is a love-hate beer. I love it, but there are lots of folks that do not. It doesn't quite deliver the Banana bread feel, but it does have a strong banana feel to it.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, finally getting around to drinking my latest bottle of Imperial Stout Trooper. Figured I'd set it up with the original bottle and the inspiration for the beer :) Also loving my Funky Buddha snifter!!

An apparently soured bottle of Sam Adams Thirteenth Hour Stout. Label says notes of spices, coffee, chocolate and oak. I get none of the above.....

Bad a random ipa while it was raining here in flirida(thank god bc we need rain)...then loved into CW BBS 2012 that was amazing and now drinking a chocolate raspberry waiting for pizza to arrive. Planned on doing surf n turf on the grill but the rain made a change in dinner plans. Will follow up with fresh nugget nectar I got today in a surprise box from jaispoann and maybe a BA stout as a nightcap. Calling in sick tomorrow so Don't really have to stop Drinking!

Started with Captain Lawrence IPA...not impressed. Alcohol is overly apparent

Having an Allagash White now. Great beer. I long for spring as I gulp this light bitch up

Shit pictures, but I've got the Velvet Fog from Sun King. I had to try it, what with the limited canning and all, but it turns out that I'm still way over-sensitive to alcohol in Belgian styles.....comes across like somebody dumped a shot of brandy in my beer. Will find a friend to appreciate the other can for me.

A great friend put a mix six together for me from her personal stash for my birthday: 2013 Bigfoot, Hopslam, Lot 6 DIPA, Cricket Hill Hopnotic, Stoudts DIPA, and Duck Rabbit Barleywine. Now that is a friend!!!

    Cheers!

I was so excited when I saw these glasses for sale - it was the Duvel tulip! The perfect tulip! And unadorned!
    Then they arrived...

    Lol: They were so tiny-looking!
It's like a 3 oz. difference, I think, but it makes a bigger difference than the just the ounces... Man, Duvel makes a great beer and a great glass.

Hey, whatever - still gonna use 'em.
Heck, it got me two pours out of my Fuller's Vintage Ale.

    Cheers!
