I'm not sure what I expected, I'm still getting my feelers out there on stouts, and tend to not prefer the chocolate and coffee flavors... but whatever. This tastes good!

Flawed, unfortunately, but not bad by any means. Less carbonation than usual, though I still got a head, decent retention, and nice lacing. Flavor seemed to be almost right, but not quite as bright and expressive as typical.

Man, Luc (on the right) is such a great mentor and I can always learn something. You do not even have to like metal but appreciate their approach and attitude in writing. Great lessons for every guitar player!

Still enjoying some Serpent's Stout! Oh wait with Serpent's Rise!

Had some Hopslam on draught at a local tap room with some dinner. Glad it's still around. Home now and just poured my first 2013 Bigfoot.

    Started out with:

It's not terrible. At all. I could drink a lot of this in a short amount of time

Local brewery started bottling their stuff recently. It's not terrible, not great. Lots of coffee

    Finishing off with this:

it's weird, but I like it.

Not only is it Valentine's Day but it's also my girlfriend's birthday. How the hell did I get weaseled out of that equation? I often hate her bitch single friends. This calls for a cup of velveeta and a can of beer.

Pan seared shrimp tossed in a hot chili-lime juice glaze with scallions and sesame seeds.
All while washing it down with a Big Eye IPA from Ballast Point. A well deserved treat for a long day at work!

This for me and some reheated pasta for us for dinner. Yep, we're a couple of hopeless romantics. At least the Sucks was bottled 8 days ago.

    Cheers, LNBA!
