    Quite possibly the best pale ale I've ever had. Bottled on NYE, super fresh. the aroma just intensifies and becomes more and more juicy as it warms and develops.

    2006. I assume it aged well. Looks good. I have an Allagash 2015 and am not sure how long to age it.

    When my daughter turned 21 in college, I bought her a bottle of Delirium Tremors as a joke but with a subtle hint. I never did ask how it was. I should probably try it plus the one you posted. I assume they are from the same brewery.

    Jai Alai must be a big seller. I went for a beer run to Total Wine this morning and they were stacking up a big display of the beer. More than any display I have seen there in a while.

    The St. Bernardus Christmas Ale knocked me out quicker than a Yule log to the skull, so I didn't get a chance to try this one last night. Thought I should start the day off with it.

    Unusual for me to be posting this early in the day, but hey, it's after 12:00 (my beer taste buds are still waking up in the AM)! And to not be shown up by all of you gourmet beer geeks posting your "fancy" meals/dishes with garnishes on the side and fancy silverware day after day, night after night ( :stuck_out_tongue::grinning: ) ...

    A good 'ol fashioned turkey sandwich on white chemical bread with custom packaged gourmet chips from a factory line, all served on top of a disposable paper towel. :sunglasses:

    And the "belly washer" being an almost empty four day old growler of Old Horizontal Barleywine that was filled at Victory...

    And that's O.K., I'm perfectly down with leftovers. :slight_smile: The only "fancy" part of this "custom made sandwich" ...
