DeKoninck as it stands. Might crack open a Pannepot or a 'Stille Nacht' given the inactivity on the UK Beer forum tonight.

Perfect beer for a cloudy day..

Not strong enough to turn me sideways though! :)

(While I'm thinking of it, is there an easy way to post pics from an iPhone? I thought I saw a thread about this recently, but couldn't find it.)

While enjoying Pearl Jam, lol, yes I was in high school during Seattle scene (early 90's), sipping on this fine local brew:

    Sixpoint Resin
    IBUs 103
    9.1% ABV

When was that Burton bottled? It changes so much over time (love that glass too)

Love New Glarus and Mars Cheese Castle has been life-long stop on the many trips to Milwaukee from Lake County/North Burbs of Chicago. Tons of delicious treats.

Brooklyn East India Pale Ale. I'm not a hop head and this is very palatable to me. Gotta work thru the variety pack to get to the Brown Ale.

I do enjoy a good read, although, with two kids roaming around I have little time for those heady adventures these days - they will be waiting I'm sure.

Potty training my daughter as well. I've never had Southampton, perhaps it could help.

<---- This guy was selected for a five-day retreat to work on his novel. Wishin' I had bought four of these babies instead of just the one. The brushback on BA made me reluctant, but honestly if the beer was just two bucks cheaper I think it would have been a slam dunk hit. I could be wrong, of course.

That place serves New Glarus?! My family is in WI, and I remember seeing signs for the Cheese Castle on the way to Marriott's Great America (suck it Six Flags, I'm old). Anyway, always thought Mars was a tourist trap. I have clearly err-ed.

Ok no pictures because of the shear chaos of this event. Anyone who was there can attest. A tasting even at the beer temple in Chicago. I got the chance to try these:
    2009 Juliet
    Cantillion gueZe and rose
Three floyds cognac barrel and chili aged dark lord
    Supplication
    Bourbon county rare
Well read temptress by pipe works

Was able to buy a BC coffee and BC cherry! As well as 2 well read temptress. Very good raspberry sour imo.

THANK YOU BEER TEMPLE CHICAGO! Made the trip from michigan well well worth it!

Sounds pretty familiar. I gave up on the idea of buying another needed bookshelf last year in order to justify more bottle space to my wife.

I closed off a bomber of Bitter Valentine on Wednesday night with one of those screw top things that pull the air out. I just opened it and it has plenty of carbonation left and is still amazing! Just a little experiment that went great. I'll finish this up and get into some stouts since its snowing out. :)
