If anybody enjoys a new beer today be sure to stop by the New Beer Sunday thread to tell Malty and the boys about it.

I'll try again....Lost Abbey Angel's Share Bourbon Barrel. Foamy/no carbonation, malty to the extreme, some oxidation, oaky as hell, hot, thin body. A few more Lost Abbeys left in my cellar to drink from my old Sinners Club days and I'll be sad when they are gone.

Last night we had a tasting and had these.[IMG] The last beer to open was the Fantome. I poured a glass and it was as thick and slimy as eggwhites. We had had enough beer already to take a chance and taste it. It tasted good but it was crazy. Here is a drunk video of "F'n Drunk Rednecks drinking an infected Fantome Sasion"<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=10200125109784778" width="226" height="400" frameborder="0"></iframe>

We had an amazing night of good craic, as the Irish say, and wonderful beer. So good, in fact, that I didn't want to break away to post on BA. So I'm cheating and posting the pic now. Incidentally, Sucks > Heady. IMO, it's not even close. The Old Raspy was amazing. And I love the Cappuccino Stout more every time I have it.

My first Blue Boar from Henry Weinhard in a brown bottle. A simple Ale that I've enjoyed for many years...

All tastes are different as you know. To me this brew is very mild and easy to drink.

My girlfriend doesn't like it, says it has funny taste to her but she loves Bell's Special Double Cream Stout. According to the Bell's website that stout contains no dairy (I assume this would mean no lactose). This could make sense as she hates milk. Odd.

I'm finishing my last few ounces of Shiner FM 966. Cool that Spoetzl took a stab at the style. Not that cool that the end result is what it is.

Definitely not the last. This is a top notch DIPA. A lot of citrus and a bit of pine.
It was $3.99 a bottle and super fresh-bottled les than 2 weeks ago.

Just some UnderDog Atlantic Lager from Flying Dog. I picked some up to go with the broiled fish I plan on making for dinner but I decided to start drinking it now.
