Enjoying a Bell's Two Hearted while watching one of my favorite movies, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (the original, not the crappy Tim Burton one), with the girlfriend after running a bunch of errands. Time to unwind...

Blueberry Eisbock. Bottles are gone but its still on tap!!! Have to say the Blueberry is better than the Raspberry, was very suprised since I tend to be partial to raspberry beers

I really love this porter. It is much more traditional in the sense that the focus is on a sweeter malt profile and some slightly sour fruit notes that blend nice with a hop finish. Rather than brewing a straightforward, roasted malt/citrus hop kick porter, Anchor keeps it simple and delicious.

i love to hike, fish, and be in outdoors; so does the wife. Used road-bike to cross train back in early 90s in high school when in Cross Country + Track.

Mikkeller Barrel Aged Black Hole (red wine) next. I've had a ton of mikkeller brews. Why are the black holes sold in green bottles? Everything else is brown.

I'm starting today off with a Dogfish Head Hellhound. I took a sip and realized, this might not be the beer I want to start with! Saving for later! Now to try a hoppy but lighter fare.. Cismontane Holy Jim Falls X.P.A. What a great pale ale! If you enjoy hops :stuck_out_tongue:

We'll see where it goes, it tasted pretty darn good (IMO) coming out of the fermenter, it's a recipe in development and I wasn't sure what to expect. The last batch was a D-IPA that tasted good out of the fermenter also but got infected somewhere along the line, very frustrating. I was doubly careful this time to avoid a repeat performance, I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

My folks live 5 miles from the DFH brewery and I'm thinking of having them bring me a couple of these IPA glasses. Are they the real deal or marketing hocus pocus? That Flower Power looks amazing.
