LNBA lives on!
NUGGET NECTAR! I finally found it! Can't take a picture, drinking it too quickly
Plead vs founders ris both with a year on them, both are awesome!
Entropic @ the Tired Hands bottle release today. Sublime.
Ruthless Rye in my glass...
Cheers BAs ~
Had both in the fridge and decided it was as good a night as any for a side by side. Hopslam wins for me, further confirming my love for malts even in IPAs.
Enjoying the last of this Bell's Sweet Potato Stout growler from Friday, whilst eating dinner and waiting on my first ever all-grain mash to do its thing!
I dig Hopslam too but at least Two Hearted is available year around!
Ha! Drank a lot there last weekend. Walked in for a nightcap the first night because our hotel was across the street and went back every night. Awesome selection. FFF APW, Experimental DBA, among other rad beers. Cool find, Cheers!
What number will this be?
you pickin up any coffee in yours? the one i had last night was just a big sweet malted chocolate bomb, still very good.
That looks SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOD.
It is man...so unbelievably smooth. No burn AT ALL!!!
Russian River Sanctification. Could drink this stuff by the gallon
really liking this . . . dare I say more than breakfast stout?
Nice, I'm not huge into barleywines most of the time but I'm really looking forward to this one. And kudos on the appropriate glassware! Did you post a review or write any notes? What do you think of it?
Edit: nm, just saw your review. Sounds interesting, definitely looking forward to it.
On the finish I'm getting some milk chocolatey espresso.. Delicious
What style of beer is this? From looks alone...it seems great.
I haven't found either in my local stores. Picked both up on vacation on the west coast (of fl). Some reason the Miami stores don't seem to carry bells :-/
First a FIS, now a Narwhal...if there was only a thread where I could contrast and compare...
Thanks man! I truly enjoyed it! http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/147/90189/?ba=EgadBananas.
Enjoyed this a great deal - a muskier, grainier IPA.
Enjoying some local dipa and getting ready for some walking dead.
Howling winds outside, some fine barrel aged stouts inside. Currently on #3, will update with the successors, maybe BBPt5 and Arcadia BB Stout...
Tonight's Walking Dead beer- Bourbon Barrel-Aged Hi-Fi Rye
This- while doing a bit of homework. Goddam its good.
MIGHT can get ya some.
The beer in the glass is a pale ale brewed with Cascade hops and 2 strains of Brett from Crooked Stave.
The bottles are saisons aged in 50/50 wine/Jim Beam barrels. The big bottle is also fermented on sour cherries.
Just got back from the Surly Pentagram release:
I sincerely hope this stuff remains an annual release. It's right on par with Five, and eerily similar.
Then I got tricked into having a Hopslam on my way home:
Salinger spelling. Niiiiice.
Had a couple of Guinness at the Irish Pub with dinner, now settling in for the all-star game with my favorite.
Eternally Streaking. Forever rustlin'.
Thanks for the beer, YaKnowBrady! Thanks for the glass, crushedvol!
