Oh wow, this is a GREAT lager. Never had a kellerbier before, but this is loaded with flavor and so well balanced with malt and fruity esters. I am going to go get more of this most likely.

Fricking awesome as expected. Tons of complexity and balance of dark malty flavors with dark fruity yeast esters. Yes.

    Cheers

And now I'm just sipping hot chocolate like a 7-year old, again, 'cause I'm still grading exams. But I put some bourbon in it, so that's kind of like beer, right?

Sidenote, how come there's no BCBS Chocolate? Seems like they would've tried chocolate before Bramble and Cherry Rye. But what do I know.

ha yeah honestly I think I like it better. The first two seasons are nearly identical as far as plot lines and stuff, and all the characters are mostly the same, but the accents add a little comedic value if you ask me.

Trying one now for the first time and it just isn't doing it for me, it starts out nice and balanced but falls flat on its face with a finish that's too sweet. (...I know, I'm the minority. But, I bet this was much more impressive a month or more ago.) - Just my humble two cents.

IMO the best beer from Detroit. I've been a fan of Atwater for a while (first brewery I visited) and I think this is by far their best beer. Definitely a nice step down from the sweetness of their Vanilla Java Porter, and can't taste a bit of the 11%. If you're looking for a 'light' Imperial Stout, this beer is it.

my favorite Detroit musician to go along with this solid Detroit beer.

Full Sail LTD #6, roasted chocolate and hints of coffee. Definitely wasn't what I expected, I forgot to read the entire label :p

    It's good though!

To be fair, you may not have been disappointed if you had tried it fresh, in June.

Yeah I definitely still liked it, but I think my palate and glass choice weren't fully up to the task tonight. I'll write a review in another day or two.

Did you get any garlicky notes from it? Not in a bad way, but still.
